Coincidentally, I've just this minute read in the article below that the patents on coffee pods have started expiring, so competitors will soon be able to produce compatible alternatives, which will be cheaper. x

And another thing at F&Bs - the kids and junior menus include a main, drink and dessert - the menu is not the clearest in highlighting it, but it does include free refills on the kids drinks. The waiter never mentioned it up front either, we o Ltd found out when we were ordering another round of drinks and asked if refills were included.

My gang go for the Candy Ice Cream Shop which is £2.25 - it has only just occurred to me, but technically should they also have got their dessert included with the meal and this too? Or is it technically +£2.25 (effectively an upgrade)?

We have spent the last 2 days in the South of France.....I knew when we had arrived in the South of France as they started talking in French on the radio in our vehicle....I kid you not. Cycled over to Swanage today......weather could not have been better. Thanks to aau for the O2 easter egg info....went to Castlepoint and got the 2 eggs...had to pay £2, which now I think about it is weird, as they were 2 for £5, so it should have cost us £1. I think I was being distracted as I was busy looking around for a lady wearing tiny shoes...but didnt see anyone wearing tiny shoes. I have uploaded the Thorntons receipt to tcb....so will see if they pay out.
