Busy day at my house. Decided to have a lie in and OH called last night and said could I wake him at 7.30 to meet the builder at the house at 8.30 who is starting on his man cave. I said no so the idiot sent me a fb message at 7.15 to say he was up. Phone is by my bed and of course woke me. Then a call at 8.15 to say he turned the water on at the stopcock for the builder and water started spurting out of a pipe. Stupid builder who removed the kitchen left an open pipe. So I called my plumber who came and sorted it and also took 2 mins to disconnect the gas cooker that the builder last week should have done. Then we discussed the configuration of the new kitchen and he is going to come next week and move some pipes around in preparation. We also discussed the new bathroom whilst he was there although I havent got the price yet. He gave me a price for a new Gas combi boiler which includes removing the 2 tanks in the loft, the tank in the airing cupboard and installing a small radiator in the airing cupboard ( brilliant idea! ) £3000.00

Anyway spent all day cleaning the washing machine, fridge and cooker ready to go into storage, Helped while he emptied the loft and sorted loads of papers and threw away another 2 bags of rubbish. Back tommorow for another go and a sort of things I need to keep out whilst I am in rented.
