Just let them prattle on, nod your head in appropriate places, always accompany them to show them the sel smile, always be polite and if all else fails, point to the sign at cs that says 'if things don't add up'. If no sign, then remind them, politely, of their own policy. As Delboy says he who dares wins, Rodney.
I was amazed last time, can't even remember what it was for now, but they actually helpfully informed me of the DTD. Probably helped that it was not a large amount, just fancied some extremely cheap food. Admittedly it was a CSA that I hadn't dealt with before, I know most of them in this storeWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

What a day!! Been into town to get my first pair of glasses (short sighted) Then had to go to hospital,
Last night when going to bed, 1 of my dogs, Ellie, the larger one, jumped up at me when I was going upstairs. I wasn't ready for her and fell backwards 7 stairs and landed on my a r s e, hard!!
When I woke up this morning I could hardly move. thought I'd just bruised my lower back. Had trouble bending down, getting down the stairs and stitting or standing. Long story short, I've broken my coccyx. Docs say it might take up to 4 months for it to heal properly. I live alone, so my dogs are going to drive me up the wall because I wont be able to take them out!
Docs have given me Tramadol, which I don't like, but they're not doing anything to relieve the pain, they're just making me feel a bit trippy
You have my sympathy ! Years ago I belonged to a parachuting club and I landed badly on my bum and cracked my coccyx. Not only that but my head slammed forward and I hit my nose on my knees. Fortunately my nose didn't break but it got knocked for six and I spent a while hobbling around, not able to sit down - and also looking like Barbra Streisand with a damn great conk !
You are in for a tough time so do take it easy and don't overdo things - do you have any friends who could walk the dogs for you ?ELITE 5:2

Try it with a TV which I did a few years ago ... it was not my fault they had put a printed A4 poster on the box and a yellow label reduction but not covered the barcode
. Oh I did act surprised as I overpaid by £100 ... (well, once I had gone past the checkout, obvs
). A little nudge when they did the refund, helped by the blue poster behind them.
Nice £279 42" TV for £79 in the end .
I have kept a low profile in that store since.

Didn't you get any of the xboxes plus game? It went on for many a week, with the 'top' game offered each week.Unfortunately, their tills never recognised the number one game each week. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

We are considering a large purchase from homebase soon...does anyone know now that they have been taken over by the Australian company if there are any good deals on vouchers or discount codes now issued.
I hope I'm not infringing the rules by asking....I am asking of their existence rather than specifically asking for a code/voucher....hope you understand redfox if you are reading....
We wouldnt normally go to homebase its just they have the shower enclosure that we want...everything else can come from more builder outlets but I can't source the shower enclosure anywhere else.
Iknow you used to be able to use i think love 2 shop vouchers at homebase ...but that agreement has now ended.
Haven't used it for about a year but it used to be if you got a quote for something ie kitchen/bathroom, left your contact details but didn't buy within the week, a follow up email would follow, usually with a 20% discount code. This worked on anything as it was email address related.0 -
Watching the programme about benefit cuts. Im not being judgemental but a couple on there who havent worked for 9 years. Have 4 children under 9 , they spend £135.00 on food of which the husband spends £40.00 on beer and cigarettes. The chap talks like benefits are and entitlement. No it isnt0
