I recognised the pumpkins but not the straw

And I agree it is definitely chocolate mud, a pile - sorry pie - of chocolate mud

    Evening peeps. :)

What a day!! Been into town to get my first pair of glasses (short sighted) Then had to go to hospital,

Last night when going to bed, 1 of my dogs, Ellie, the larger one, jumped up at me when I was going upstairs. I wasn't ready for her and fell backwards 7 stairs and landed on my a r s e, hard!!

When I woke up this morning I could hardly move. thought I'd just bruised my lower back. Had trouble bending down, getting down the stairs and stitting or standing. Long story short, I've broken my coccyx. Docs say it might take up to 4 months for it to heal properly. I live alone, so my dogs are going to drive me up the wall because I wont be able to take them out!

Docs have given me Tramadol, which I don't like, but they're not doing anything to relieve the pain, they're just making me feel a bit trippy

:eek::eek: you are a liability , hope it heals soon

Oh bubbs. I have to say thank you to you and LEJC.:D

Not only the lamb but the beef as well, asked why I got a few of each. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I told them that they were on offer so thought that I'd stock up. :D

Ditto, another t. Vodka and apple vodka in the store cupboard. :D

Will try another t tomorrow. Both t's the meat was in the usual aisle not on the end of aisle display. Odd joints there but were mostly correctly priced. All were incorrectly priced in their usual aisle. Check large and medium joints of beef. Only large on end of aisle promo.

Vodka was on a standalone display.

Also, I went to the dentist today and we discussed putting new crowns of some of my teeth. Does £1280 for 4 at the front sound reasonable for independent porcelain crowns ?

Vey good, I was quoted £1600 for 4 front bottom ( no jokes pls) teeth!

That was a couple of years ago...every time I ask it goes up by £50 a tooth!

apparently bubbs ....you need to stand your ground on a dtd...he very politely told the CS desk that he had seen a lot on the television and read about the situation of misplacing pricing labels or displaying out of date labels....

I wasn't around when he did it last night,I think I would have personally bottled it too,but I guess he felt he had nothing to lose ...but there was a sense of pride when he returned home and in effect taught me to suck eggs!

Just let them prattle on, nod your head in appropriate places, always accompany them to show them the sel smile, always be polite and if all else fails, point to the sign at cs that says 'if things don't add up'. If no sign, then remind them, politely, of their own policy. As Delboy says he who dares wins, Rodney. :D
