British Gas is still being kind to me -- it won't be a big box!

Also, I went to the dentist today and we discussed putting new crowns of some of my teeth. Does £1280 for 4 at the front sound reasonable for independent porcelain crowns ?

Very reasonable (assuming this is private). For comparison I'm paying £600 for one later this month!

Do you need crowns? I would wait until the teeth can't be filled any more.

...it comes in three's tbw.....so hopefully thats spending sorted for the year!

I've already had my three ! My front door handle/lock broke, my American style freezer is leaking water and the engineer is having trouble locating the fault and the car I bought for my Son broke down (duff battery at only a few weeks after purchase). So this is my second three - I can see a pattern developing.

Yes I do - 2 of them already have crowns which could really do with renewing and the colours on the other two need to be an exact match. I'm of an age where if I don't get them done soon I will be too old to care !
