    Evening peeps. :)

What a day!! Been into town to get my first pair of glasses (short sighted) Then had to go to hospital,

Last night when going to bed, 1 of my dogs, Ellie, the larger one, jumped up at me when I was going upstairs. I wasn't ready for her and fell backwards 7 stairs and landed on my a r s e, hard!!

When I woke up this morning I could hardly move. thought I'd just bruised my lower back. Had trouble bending down, getting down the stairs and stitting or standing. Long story short, I've broken my coccyx. Docs say it might take up to 4 months for it to heal properly. I live alone, so my dogs are going to drive me up the wall because I wont be able to take them out!

Docs have given me Tramadol, which I don't like, but they're not doing anything to relieve the pain, they're just making me feel a bit trippy

ouch, hope it heals soon xxx

Good morning all, glorious sunny day here. Got a line full of washing out :D

We normally use a broker (business colleague), but this year they have added a £40 admin charge

Have found a quote from L&G for just under £120 including legal and home emergency :D Should be able to get £25 through Quidco too. Am hanging on a short while as waiting to see if any better deals come along, have 10 days or so before we have to jump.

I think it is extremely difficult to get a better deal nearer the time the policy is due. I am sure the cashback offers go down too. I always regret not renewing when I first get all my quotes and they always seem to go up and cashback down when I leave it a bit longer hoping for a better deal. This year I am going to write it all down so I can monitor it carefully.

Watching the programme about benefit cuts. Im not being judgemental but a couple on there who havent worked for 9 years. Have 4 children under 9 , they spend £135.00 on food of which the husband spends £40.00 on beer and cigarettes. The chap talks like benefits are and entitlement. No it isnt

I know we said the same:eek: he says i dont have to explain to you , what do you spend your money on? Hubby says but we work you dont:o

Was really looking forward to my whoopsied Asda donoughts for lunch today. DD came back into the lounge with them laughing. Oh know I thought must have mould on them or something. She had to put them outside as the bag was crawling with ants. I must remember to put everything in tins at this time of the year. I managed to 'replace' the donoughts whoopsied tonight and they are safely in a sealed tin. Those ant tins I bought for 20p in b and m and totally useless.

Good deal for those with a sweet tooth like me. Two loaf cake bars in the asda bakery for £1. You cant buy any cakes now for 50p a pack and all those mr. kipling ones are so so tiny I need two lol! Also in our tesco two custard and rhubarb slices in the bakery 25p reduced from a pound early in the mornings.

I was amazed last time, can't even remember what it was for now, but they actually helpfully informed me of the DTD. Probably helped that it was not a large amount, just fancied some extremely cheap food. Admittedly it was a CSA that I hadn't dealt with before, I know most of them in this store :o

A few years ago, the CS manager asked me numerous times to take her shopping so that she could have a moan at the relevant departments. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
