You are right Di.....rarely does it go smoothly.

We are having a new shower enclosure fitted and the side panel is not compatible with the shower door:o This is after all the trims are fitted. We are now going to have a battle on our hands as we are expected to report back within 3 days of delivery if there's a problem ie double check delivery note. However the delivery note only describes it as a universal side panel....but there is a 5cm difference between that and the door:o

Plus if we need to exchange anything it has to be sent back unused but we have fitted the trims :o

Mr TM is on the phone now and I've got a feeling it's going to be tricky.

We had this when we replaced the bathroom quite a few years back. Ordered everything off Wickes. Checked all the boxes and they all said what we expected them to say, didn't get going for a few days but when we did we took the sheet of paper out of the basin (cutting instructions for the worktop - basin and loo in cupboards) and used the instructions to cut out the worktop, took the basin out of the box and it was the wrong one, in spite of the box being for the right one. Managed to get them to replace it and to pay for the replacement of the worktop too.

Some people reckon these things go in 7 year cycles.......an old wives tale ....or is there truth in it.

Morning all - looking glorious out there! Trying to get house sorted as may put it on the market as want to give Dd some £££ to get her on the housing ladder.

But one step forward 20 back the elastic went on the towelling things you put on the base of the steam mop so the floors didn't get done. Then I managed to get the cable caught up in my new Hoover as I was using the hose to get rid of the cobwebs from the ceiling. Mad  as only 6 months old and the cable is now perished.

So after all that effort house is dirtier than normal - off to pick a stick job from Argos - has good reviews. So let's see if I can sabotage that too. :rotfl:

    Have a good one xx

One of my favourite tiny Co-ops - the one on my usual route coming home - is one of the 200+ stores to be taken over by McColls :( But the good news is the staff are keeping their jobs :)

So while I'm out and about in the next few weeks, I'll be nipping in to various local Co-ops finding out which ones are remaining so I know where's easiest to go for my till spits. Another free 50p yesterday on fruit - I got rtc cherries with that. Yum. :D

Just printed £9 in apgs from those shower gels. Nearly forgot about them!
