he is gorgeous and his ears are intact as well - my two black tops are very battle scarred.

I have various boris mats which go out in the morning as the cats like sitting on their own mats to sun bathe - except when they are not flopped out in a flower bed.

Just tried to sit outside in the garden with a brew but the heat was so intense I've retreated indoors.

I've been working on the car insurance renewal quotes this morning, a vile and wretched job if ever there was one with the intention of having a gardening break this afternoon. I might have to find a dark corner to work on and a layer of factor 50 and a floppy hat

OH took me to our Boots for the £1 meal deal but the sandwich fridge was empty - apparently they had a late delivery but it just failed to arrive
They could at least have put a noticed on the shop door.
so I just ended up just getting with my usual drink and nuts and the one solitary chicken and mayo sandwich left over probably from yesterday.
But after listening to the article about washing prepared salads on the lunch time news I thought I could really do with not having a tummy upset. So I put the bits of chicken out for Sophie the tortoishell cat who is obsessed with chicken - she walked away from it though

on the plus side in Halfords we got 2 new bike pumps worth £3.50 from the O2 app :)

Marks - I noticed that they have a £6 meal deal with some items that looked very good value - no wine with this deal

Cheaper anyway than a trip to mcDonalds or the chip shop especially if you don't have store with yellow labels

there was 2 pies - chicken and leek and a meat version - more than enough to feed 3 people with small appetities. Also a moussaka and a shepherds pie and a mushroom filo pastry

    various vegetable sides

puddings, choice of about 4 - quite a big clotted cream rice pudding which I think would be nice with poached peaches and a chocolate pudding looked quite good value

    Woohoo success.

I have finally remembered to ring Swalec. I had a £350 rebate which meant my DD was way to high, I expected them to adjust it automatically but they didn't :(

so now down from £95 to £60 as I've already made 3 payments this year AND I finally remembered to change the date (we moved wage payment date in work)

Going to ring Mortgage company now to increase that inline. I like to overpay when I can.
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
Mortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

Thank you - much appreciated - looks like my regular store is the only one affected around here, plus one other which I rarely go to as parking is so poor. We get to keep another one with excellent parking so that will easily become my new regular. I actually quite like that one as some staff have a policy at the till of telling people about any extreme reductions that they might have missed whilst going around the store. I got 2 large fresh breaded cod there for 59p last time.

It seems DD will lose her local too but they only go there to get the odd comic or ice-cream, it's a pleasant route suitable for taking the kids on their bikes, so McColls will do just as well, I imagine.
