If she paid Lowcost via C/C she can reclaim from C/C company under s75 of the consumer credit act 1974 if the total cost was over £100.

Sorry to read this, hope she paid with credit card, just in case you can claim?

I had this quite a few years ago.

The travel company went bust just days before we went away. Had to pay everything all over again but CC company (Barclaycard) refunded all the extra costs we incurred including various taxi fares, even phone calls etc.

Get and keep all the receipts you canto prove additional costs in case you can claim them.

Well worth paying a few £ extra to use a credit card when booking holidays.

I had this romantic idea of swathes of herbs too rhos and I have a few different types of mint, sage, thyme etc and I'm really happy with them but I'm finished with chives:rotfl: Today I've planted parsley in a trough and watercress too:)

I've counted a couple of dozen volunteer potatoes today....potatoes left in from last year which I've just left to grow where they come up and I've found some tiny little holly bushes growing here and there which I'll nurture........hope they are female and I get berries:)

    Hi All

Don't know if anyone is still wanting baby food jars on a AvM
    I did a shop today.
Noticed the Hipp Organic Fruit Layer Mango & Banana was now at 85p instead of £1 in Sada. So the best bet for a return is Hipp Organic Breakfast Layer Strawberry Topped which is still £1 each.
Were 12 for £6 in A versus 10 for £5 in M as they have been for ages
So I bought 11 strawberry and 1 Mango.
    Result is as follows:
1x HiPP Organic Fruit Layer Mango & Banana Topped with Yogurt (160G) £0.85 £0.87
10x HiPP Organic Breakfast Duet Strawberry Cereal with Yogurt (160G) £10.00 £5.00
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cucumber (EACH) £0.42 £0.41
0.08x Loose Onion (order by number of onions or select kg) (PER KG) £0.05 N/A
0.02x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Carrot (order by number of carrots or select kg) (PER KG) £0.01 N/A
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
0.16x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (PER KG) £0.11 N/A
    1x ASDA Smartprice Porridge Oats (1KG) £0.75 £0.75
Comparison total (compared products only) £12.12 £7.13

Expect the comparison to continue until A or M change price or Morries collectors don't see the deal correctly (has messed up my comparison in the past)

Incidentally I'm not making a baby live on dessert. I don't have kids but I give them to a food bank where they presumably get distributed out - and not all to one family.
    The end is nigh

Went to a local Asda this morning to get the 6 pack of Heinz beans for 97p, but although the SEL was there they had no stock

So I went to another nearby that had stock, but it scanned at £2.00.

What did I do ? Bought a load at £2 from second store, then took them back to the first store for a full refund and bought them straight back for 97p each.

But you say, what about all the time and petrol ?

Well, it took not very long - in and out in 10 minutes and found 4 wombles totalling £8 or so covering my time and petrol.

    A year of beans for 16p a tin 😀

    Job done, very MSE 😁
