The loo paper crisis has been averted :j 9 cheap rolls to be delivered from Superdrug for the family bathroom and 20 camomile flavour from Wilkos, collect on Saturday. Both through Quidco for a bit of cashback.

I also used paypal for both. Receipt piggy put £10 into my paypal last week - I won a nice lump of points at the start of March so it only took 2 weeks to get up to the bigger level.
So literally Ive taken rubbish - wombled receipts and turned them into loo roll - rubbish to rubbish :rotfl:

Apologies if already posted. Just seen promotion on Dr O pizza boxes "Make Midweek Matter" - chance to win up to £10 off shopping plus £1 off next pizza on every box. I assume codes are inside box as before. Pizzas currently £1.50 in Iceland. Offer ends 31st May.

We bought pizza today as my nephew eats a lot of it. I didn't do the Dr O promotion last time because I personally don't eat pizza. My brother got to the website and it's a holding page so it doesn't say anything about it. 'My thread will know' said I, and sure enough, thank you Pacifica!

But could someone tell me what I am supposed to be looking for please? Is it the red printed code in the middle of the front of the box on the inside? Or is it one of the black printed numbers on the inside of the flap where you open the pizza? (Not sure I can read all of them at present.)

By the way, MyS says pizza is £1.25 in A

Thanks for your help, Elite! I think DB is seriously considering another freezer...

I did a sharpies C&C yesterday for collection this morning. It's to a different store and I did one for DB first, initiating him. My email has come showing 10 in stock! I can only presume his are too. Is this happening to everyone please?

I think they have stocked up recently Picasso. Remember you can always reject on the grounds of no shower holder.

Thanks Pacifica. I did this at my local recently and dare not order for CC there again. But DB's store must have picked my order before DB's as his sharpies were sadly :D not in stock. So he watched as I put my bewildered face on and said that they didn't have a shower holder.

But sharpies worked perfectly today everyone. I can't believe this is still going strong...

Yes I am recruiting people to drop off random food parcels at their back door so they know we are still thinking of them and also they are being spied upon so they cant get up to any mischief :rotfl:

Eldest son put in for his next posting last year but there was some annoying mix up so he had to put it in again and then because everything else was already assigned he got what was left which was East Anglia.
There was much tears and sobbing and hand wrangling. There are numerous bases in and around the west mids and they had high hopes of getting one of those. That way GF could continue with her new job, the flat they only moved to last October was far from perfect but they could have stayed another 6 months and given themselves a bit of breathing space. Birmingham hadnt really suited them either but again sometimes a place has to grow on you.

So GF had to start job hunting again, having had her new job only 6 months. Very quickly she got a job with an international software company based in Cambridge and she has a start date.
Eldest son can move bases earlier than his given date
They have been flat/house hunting again - ideally looking for somewhere between Cambridge and eldest sons new base so the commute is not to much for either of them.
They were quite keen on Bury St Edmunds - its similar, a market town, to where GF lived for several years in Cheshire. But rents were vast, I suppose its still within commuter distance and nowhere seemed to have spaces for 2 cars

I dont want to jinx anything but they seem to be sorted out :T

Hopefully there will be social life and sports facilities on base so they can start making friends and connections - I worry about them being so far away from their mates - mainly Cheshire and Manchester.

The closest to them is eldest child and her OH in St A which seems to be about 2 hours away so not too far for exchanging weekends - the 2 couples get on fabulously

Hope all gets sorted ok..im sure it will :) and excellent news that GF has a start date for a job.
As you say leaving friends is daunting, but here goes a new chapter in their lives, with new friends and new interests, but the old friends will still be there.:)
Cambridge is a little far for me to drop off the food parcel :D
