In the meantime youngest Errant son has arrived back this afternoon.
I am probably going to get very miserable, crabby and moaney over the next week or so while we adjust so it might be better to put me on ignore until things settle.
Firstly he eats incessantly so the first thing he did was make a late lunch, mess the kitchen and cause a lot of washing up, I think this is a teething problem which we will just get used to eventually.
If he eats his way through the few things we have excess of this will be a good thing, just have to hope COS have plenty of free items.
Then he produced his washing - I'd not even thought about this, 10 days of living in his van with no laundry facilities and then another 3 weeks of it sat festering in a wash basket in his van, gross.
So the first load is in, no idea where its going to dry as it has rained all day. Also no idea where its all going to be stored once dry.
Third issue is that he parked this huge van directly outside the study window blocking the light so I had to get him to shift it. Oh suggested the driveway but that means no light in the living room. I don't think there is going to be an answer to this problem as there are only a few other places down the road where it could go and possibly it would annoy neighbours being there permanently.
Fourth issue is his 3 bikes are still in Kent. So each time he wants to go places eg into town he cant just jump on the bike, it has to be the huge van so he is going to have parking problems.
Fifthly he def needs a shower - might need Oh to politely suggest this
OH well, at least he is back for the foreseeable future,
i know where he is and I know what he is up to, just got to think of some positive things to outway the negatives ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Sorry but had two nights without sleep and a day full of adrenaline so no time to post, I messaged those I have on fb which is why AJ got confused ...... so delighted.
Fabulous news :T
I am amazed you could even work today, you must be dancing on the ceiling :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Afternoon everyone
Do you know when I was at work I seemed to have more time to come and pop in for coffee and chat with elite, I just don't know where the time goes.
Wedding pic MHOC are gorgeous and such a perfect day im sure being there in person would have been fantastic, and what a day to get married 25th March, that was also my wedding anniversary 39 years:eek:
So trip to London last Friday to see GSs but before we left teenage gs said he felt ill, I had no patience as he always causes disruption before we want to do anything, either with or without him! but this time he was ill so no school for him- fortunately no one else had it,and he stayed at home with his mum.
Late leaving but still managed a meet up for lunch with DS and family..they then went home sorted the boys out whilst we popped into A to get some rolls to have with our free CGS, ..it was only 4pm and already food was on 2nd + 3rd reduction if only id been at home - we did buy 2 boxes of indian meals for supper at £1.50 ish- and no rolls
Lovely to see the baby GS got to babysit whilst DS and wife went to cinema. How they grow, I haven't seen them since they returned from their holiday just over a week ago, lovely and tanned and always smiling..They went to Borneo + Thailand, rather them than me travelling with 2 babies under 2 for 25 hours:eek:
Saturday my 39th wedding anniversary I got to spend time with my dear little boys whilst DH + DS went by train to Liverpool to anfield to see the legends playing...I much preferred my day;) with the babies:):)
Sunday I had an A order using up all my apg no comparisons just a shop that I was collecting at Clapham as its a huge store and the items were available there...well so I thought...
So Sunday morning drove through to A and in plenty of time, the roads were deserted, mind you we have often found London doesn't wake until 11 / 12 ish so with the clocks altering it was advantageous for us.
The c+c came within minutes but...all the household items I ordered were not available:mad: I also ordered 2 meal deals (to leave with ds + wife for later) the wine was a sub as was 1 main, and no sub was even put in for 1 of the main, subsequently only 1 discount came off---The sa was very helpful and pleasant but the supervisor couldn't understand only 1 deal for the meals came off..in the end the whole order was cancelled with me hoping to get an e-voucher refund...but nothing has materialised as yet. The frustrating thing was in one of the meals we ordered the chicken, and low and behold there it was sitting on the shelf, they hadn't put it in our shop - if they had we would have had the 2 meals and not been requesting a full refund, because we then had to buy with real money 2 meals:mad:
DS was working, so we had a few hours going for a walk and feeding the ducks with GSs and DIL,before driving home. Later that evening we had a message saying they really enjoyed their mothers day meal...im pleased as it was a hassle getting it.
Late last night after having a catch up I decided to pm fb re- Viking. I had a reply this morning and they have put the 3000 points on which should be visible to me later on today..so a big thanks to all who have done this to then in turn given me the confidence to also query the missing points..:A:T
Nearly forgot thanks BUBBS for the Yardley --managed to get this whilst away and on the way home stopped off at a larger branch and got the beckham deo online they were £3.19 but in store they were £2.69 so hubby was pleased...
Ive sent him in A on the way home from work to see if any sharpies are around and if so he can do a test shop in the morning.
Are sharpies working today?
belated birthday wishes to all and enterprise please you enjoyed rome, ive only been to sienna, but that was super.
I hope the flood damage and repairs for you Rose go according to plan.
..and the conservatory roof lejc oh dear:( did Doris have anything to do with it?
Phew I think I need a coffee, anyone care to join me, I can make tea if you preferx
Black coffee for me please. : ). Belated Happy Anniversary Hillbern.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
Right I mustn't use too much dongle up as still have 2 days here
My sister gets results of PET scan tomorrow
I think your sister must be about 2 weeks ahead of mine.
My sister sees the specialist next week and at least then we will know what happens next - I think this must be when she gets back from Oz
In the meantime I have not told any of my gang, until we know for sure what the treatment is - plus we are still in the aftermath of the wedding, pre relocation for eldest son and his GF and then there is the Errant son issue .... might be after Easter when things quieten down ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Wow mhoc. Does he realise you're not a hotel with laundry service?“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

a very good use for the love2shop gift cards :j
Also I need cheap freezer fillers - fingers crossed Iceland dont object to tsking print off MOCs“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Sounds like you have had a lovely weekend hillbern....our roof...no nothing to do with Doris...more to do with a set of builders working next door and not taking care with where they threw things, walked or dripped paint etc etc....
They have managed to break one section by walking over it and the other has been badly marked by spilt paint drips....sadly it isnt a case of just cleaning the drips as the other section needs replacing and the 2 sections need to come from the same batch to avoid a slight colour difference....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

exactly, my heart sank when I saw how much washing there was ... I think this is about the most depressing problem at the moment ....
Ive shown him how to work the machine and I will show him how to empty it without taking the door off - things I cant expect him to know as he has not been here except for an odd day since last summer ...
And I will also tell him where to find hangers to put wet washing on so he will be mostly doing it all himself
The big radiator is full of the small wet towels as it never stopped raining today so goodness knows where its all going to go ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Although mhoc...what is it they say...after the wedding all questions turn to babies....maybe you will be hearing the chimes of nanna hood soon........
No I will be a very ancient crone before the next generation appear - our 4 eldest are very career minded (and also high earners and high spenders so none of them can take baby breaks for the forseeable future)
As for Errant son, oh dear gawd, I truly hope not ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
