Yes it had to be quick while hubby is on his days off and she can't be without a car because of her placements. It wouldn't be her first choice but she will just have to have what she is given. She has googled it and said it looks ok, followed by you do know that I don't have any money to pay for it don't you? erm yes we do:D

I was thinking earlier how I wouldn't like to have to go through the 18-25 stage with my DD again. Uni, cars and new jobs and 'payday loans' all proved far more expensive for the Bank of Mum than any other stage of her adult life including the wedding and the arrival of the grandkids. And luckily it was pre-recession, so I had more spare money then than now.

Fortunately, mine landed a job with a company car at around 26yrs, so that side of things is now taken care of very well. And she earns 6x more than me so I am off the hook these days! :D Just waiting for a bit of role reversal to kick in now... :D:D

It's not a discount code. It's a product code which you put in the search box and add to your order

    Thanks
Must have done it wrong then.

Shirley...what are you going to do with your One4all giftcards. I was sure someone mentioned on here that they could be spent at Iceland but not according to the website.

I'm a bit like Seren and would rather use them for something I will buy anyway.

Hi TM - I'm adding them to my Amazon gift card balance. They are good till 2027 but they will be spent before then, I'm sure!

ETA just spotted Nando's under Restaurant Choice. My DS comes home from Uni to visit Nando's more than see family!

The website says they are accepted by MyProtein and I tried to place an order last weekend using them but failed spectacularly:o

    I'd forgotten about Amazon:)

I don't know what referral code you are being asked for. Word for word from my virgin red app:

Have a Virgin TV V6 box, on us. A big thank you for being a top customer.

Woohoo! You can get our smallest, smartest, fastest box yet - absolutely free. Record 6 shows at once, enjoy a super powered remote and experience mesmerising 4K Ultra HD.

All you need to do is tap 'Get' below. Then kick back. We'll email to confirm that things are underway and call you within 14 days to get everything sorted.

    T &C
    1. You must be an existing virgin media customer.
    2. Only one box per household can be claimed.

I've clicked 'Get' and now have the message ' Thanks for registering for a free TiVo box. Someone from virgin media will call you soon to arrange your delivery.'

    Will report back.

It sounds very straightforward and few T&Cs there to hold you to - it seems odd them mentioning delivery as I understood that it was Engineer install required (perhaps just the way I am reading it?).
