I found an offer on V Red to get me started with 50 points -I Googled "virgin red referral code" and clicked on the second link which is on their site.
I have added VM, V East Coast to get extra points.
Where is the V6 offer hiding please as I cannot see it? Or is it an exclusive for longer term app users?

Warning that McDonald's is trying to get you to spend more:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/28/major-restaurants-installing-music-systems-make-spend-10pc/
Beware of menus, lighting, seating layout, materials and colours that try to get you to spend more:rotfl:.
(Warning, in effect, that McDonald's is doing its job, to protect itself/make profits, whereas we should look out for our own interests in seeking to reduce that bill:D;). So, leave if the location of a chair, or its colour, is getting you to purchase something:rotfl::rotfl:. It's good to be aware of these marketing tactics though, as the more we are aware and look out for them in order to try to neutralise their effect, the less effective they are. And then... :(they'll just change to something else that we are unaware of. In fact, :cool:they'll probably keep this, as most customers will be influenced by it.)
EDIT: I think I may as well add a warning that Tesco is trying to get people to spend more. When it has signage that says "Helping you to spend less every day":rotfl:. (That, surely, gets people to spend more, thinking wrongly that they are spending less?)0 -
I bought R1chmond sausages AvM last week but reports came back that M was showing NA so I haven't bothered running my APG results yet. Do we know if the price is getting picked up now please? Still £2 in M.
Many thanks

Morning.
Ending today, Nuitrigrain £1.99 each or 2 for £3.00 (strawberry, apple & blueberry)
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661179_1985846.html
Should give small APG against Tesco £1.50 a box (about 96p a box?) Still too expensive unless you eat/need them or any cash back anywhere.
Alpen Original (1.3 kg) and No Added Sugar (1.1 kg) £3.98 each or 2 for £6.00.
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=alpen
Should give small APG against Morries at £3.50 each.0 -

Just to explain, my M list is out-of-date - I have just about managed to turn it to non-bold text - and is stuck on 15th March. I have had too many, shall we say at this belated stage, "distractions" away from the list in the past week and not been motivated to update it (it happens). Eventually I will update it, to the last information I have, which is 22nd March and already part out of date (some offers will remain on though as they are on for three or four weeks), just in order to get it nearer to whatever prices I find whenever I next go out to M which may be sometime in mid-April but is all up in the air at the moment. There was a medium level of change last week, I've put it aside and not even been bothered with it for now but the items that worked only days earlier, such as the Walkers Bugles and Doritos multipack, were already off in M almost immediately. The McCain Shake Shake - I saw a womble with one of those working too but I believe they were already off in M a day later, so most likely won't work now. I will need to delete a few items as well as adding whatever I found last week, but just to say the list is not reliable at the moment.
And... I'll now probably sign off again almost immediately, as I am doing other things - got other special interests that I am doing at the moment until, at some time, I'll get back to this.
Whenever I eventually update it to 22nd March, I won't put anything in bold this time but just update it silently as some of it may already be out-of-date.
Morning all. Savvy, enjoy your other interests and come back when you are ready.0 -
For your trip to Ikea dont forget first of all to put your family card in the machine to see what coupons/offers you may have BEFORE you shop. I forgot to do this with all the excitement! Not sure where the machine is so you will need to ask.
You certainly can buy chocolate and packs of nuts in the restaurants. I only got 4 packs of nuts/fruit and one bar of chocolate to go with our meal because I wasn't sure of the terms and conditions. Dont know how many you could get away with lol!
I always have loads of apples at home but if they are on the whoopsie counter I always get them. Store them in your garage or somewhere dark and they keep for ages - I just keep rotating them and never run out.
Picasso 7 - I remember seeing on the board outside Lakeside restaurant a few ikeas that are not included in the 'deal'.
Dont forget to scan your ikea family card when paying for your meal otherwise it will not work! I did not buy any drinks with our meals as I am not sure whether these are included just got the free coffee/tea with the card afterwards.
I asked three members of staff certain things about the deal but none of them knew the answers. Just like Tesco's non existant training.
Thanks Matty. Will give it a go when I can.0 -

And I joined the V Atlantic club too for extra points.
I added that too as I had it from ages ago.
For anyone that hasn't considered it yet, if you signed up to V trains west and East Coast (many of the Elite now qualify after N3ctar bonus point journeys) you get points for that, so not just VM customers.

Good morning all, cloudy one today, but we have some outside work to do so fingers crossed.Anyone around who understands Sky+ boxes please?
DS4 has vertualy no reception in his flat for his tv, so nothing to watch. Just wondered if he could use one of our Sky+ boxes, without the card, and use as a freeview and would he necessarily get a better picture please? Xx
Does he actually have a satellite connection? If he does then it should work, but he might be better off getting a freesat box.
In his flat does he have an aerial point? And is there an aerial on the flat? If so then it could be he needs to call in maintenance, or call the landlord if it is rented. We often have to sort out aerial connections in flats, the problems vary from the previous tenants having decided to rip the cabling out to something simply not turned on.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
