    I'm going to do this:)

But I didn't realise you could buy "stuff" as well.....are the chocolate and nuts available to purchase in the restaurant?. Do you scan your family Ikea card at the restaurant as you buy your food?

    Thanks matty:)

For your trip to Ikea dont forget first of all to put your family card in the machine to see what coupons/offers you may have BEFORE you shop. I forgot to do this with all the excitement! Not sure where the machine is so you will need to ask.
You certainly can buy chocolate and packs of nuts in the restaurants. I only got 4 packs of nuts/fruit and one bar of chocolate to go with our meal because I wasn't sure of the terms and conditions. Dont know how many you could get away with lol!

I always have loads of apples at home but if they are on the whoopsie counter I always get them. Store them in your garage or somewhere dark and they keep for ages - I just keep rotating them and never run out.

Picasso 7 - I remember seeing on the board outside Lakeside restaurant a few ikeas that are not included in the 'deal'.

Dont forget to scan your ikea family card when paying for your meal otherwise it will not work! I did not buy any drinks with our meals as I am not sure whether these are included just got the free coffee/tea with the card afterwards.

I asked three members of staff certain things about the deal but none of them knew the answers. Just like Tesco's non existant training.

I don't know what referral code you are being asked for. Word for word from my virgin red app:

Have a Virgin TV V6 box, on us. A big thank you for being a top customer.

Woohoo! You can get our smallest, smartest, fastest box yet - absolutely free. Record 6 shows at once, enjoy a super powered remote and experience mesmerising 4K Ultra HD.

All you need to do is tap 'Get' below. Then kick back. We'll email to confirm that things are underway and call you within 14 days to get everything sorted.

    T &C
    1. You must be an existing virgin media customer.
    2. Only one box per household can be claimed.

I've clicked 'Get' and now have the message ' Thanks for registering for a free TiVo box. Someone from virgin media will call you soon to arrange your delivery.'

    Will report back.

Thank you - I meant the app offers an opportunity for a referral code to be entered when you register for the app.

    Many thanks

Hope you're feeling a bit more relaxed Sarah and you can move you're head more freely. Suggestion would be to either spray or rub in some cream/spray such as Deep Heat. Not recommended if you have a sensitive skin as Mr AJ would tell you it burns. What he means is, if I have applied it and he gets too close it burns him :D

Thank you TM, I have had the most amazing day, it has been quiet and quite restful but I've had the most amazing presents, including from DS3 a bird feeder that hangs and has a hedgehog on top, also a thing that just sticks in the earth with a hedgehog on top with a garden spade. A lovely mse friend got me a beautiful purple hedgehog keyring and a gift voucher. I've had flowers, plants and chocolates just to name a few.

Now, shall I cut the cake? Who would like a slice? :D

Sorry got nothing in like deep heat :(

Cake would be lovely, thankyou. It looks too nice to cut up though :rotfl::rotfl:

I've just had a close look at that cake and I think I would be able to copy that successfully. I can only do easy ones:rotfl:

Actually I almost dare not go out again in case I jinx something - I came back to terrible events in the news on the day last time:(. I just hope, whenever I next go to M, nothing happens like that again.

Is anyone watching the Martin Lewis money show LIVE

He is so annoying, he's speaking too fast and I'm missing out on what he's saying and all the presenters are shouting.

I think he speaks too fast because he s trying to cram in as much info as he can in the time given eg on good Morning Britain .

Hi bubbs, yes she loves the Juke and said can she have one, erm no:eek: Hubby has found a reasonably priced Hyundai I10 so she will have to make do with that. It will be much more economical than the Fiesta was. Picking it up tomorrow and then taking it down to Essex on thursday so she will have it ready for when the hire car goes back on friday:)

I watched it too, but didn't have any trouble with the speed he was speaking at, nor with the two lady co-presenters either.

    Happy birthday Altojack.

Thanks, just other things taking my interest/time at the moment, and I just can't get started on the update (now belated anyway) - that's where the "problem" lies sometimes, getting started on something, once I am started, I can't stop!:D:rotfl:

Thanks for your understanding and patience. At least those other things will get started now, are being done, I suppose I am having a bit of a holiday (even if the destination is... here at home:(:rotfl:).:)

I've already "plucked up the courage":D to come here to start posting again, who knows, I'll probably be here for two months now:rotfl:.

You should know by now how much we think of you Savvy, you are a treasured member here so don't forget it. When you're not here we miss you. Even if you're not updating just pop in and say 'hi'.

Enjoy your holiday, playing your favourite music and keep smiling xx

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
