If you fancy having a lodger, maybe one just for weekdays who goes home at weekends you can earn £7500 with no tax implications

The empty nest is a most terrifying place, we are still not fully adjusted to it. They tend to keep bouncing back and using the place as a free bed and breakfast place - when eldest son and his GF went Brum we were quite depressed as we thought we would rarely see them - instead the opposite is true, we see them more now than when GF was based in Maccesfiled.

(I would have offered eldest son and GF as your new lodgers when they eventually move to east Anglia but they would be far more annoying and demanding than any of your own offspring so I wont inflict them on you :) LOL )

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: oh mhoc you've made me dribble my coffee. It's a strange situation I must admit, but I've always left an open door and bedroom space for any of them at any time. I keep looking in ds3s old room, it's due to be decorated at some point but it'll always be his room. Although he took his stuff away with him, there's still traces there in place. A picture he framed and didn't want is still hanging there, as a reminder I suppose.

The two eldest have been gone so long, have different life styles and I can't imagine them coming back home to live.

No, I do not want lodgers from anywhere:eek: I want to walk from shower room to airing cupboard wrapped in a towel, I can't do that if I have a lodger  :rotfl: :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I don't know if it is just local, but heard on radio optician are offering a free smell kettle and toaster if you have a free design consultations, doesn't say anything about buying a kitchen.

    http://www.optiplankitchens.co.uk/attend-design-consultation-optiplan-kitchens-receive-free-smeg-kettle-toaster/

I am in the process of booking an appointment, no intention of changing kitchen yet though ......

What does it smell of I wonder? Autocorrect hates me too. :rotfl:

What is it with pieces of metal finding their way into our food lately?

Our eldest went when she was 18 (long story) so she has been gone now a long time but its still called her bedroom even though hell would freeze over before she came back full time - she barely manages to be here more than 2 days at a time :)
Her room was the first to be revamped when she was at uni.
The boys rooms were only revamped a few years ago but its now called the guest room as we reverted it back into one room - the last thing we would want would be either of them back on a long term basis:).

    Finest Meal Deal for £10.

Discount not coming off. Total charged £18.10. Overcharge £8.10 DTD £17.20 returned! :j :j

Looking at the online offering it could be the cheese selection and/or the potato wedges in thyme that are displayed as part of the deal but not coming off at the till.

I can't see the cheese selection online. Can anyone see it? Or is that the trigger you need to find?
