Just thinking out loud here. Ive done 2 of the razor shops online and also done some smaller apg shops earlier in the month so I must be approaching £100, so need to use another A account.
Thought Id put it here as a reminder to others.

Now he races into the lounge and chooses one of four games we have that are suitable for him, he loves playing them
Round their house the TV is always on, and when we asked what book we were to read to the kids when they went to bed when we were babysitting we were told that that is too old, they now have the a DVD on in their room. They are 6 and 2, share a room, and they have a TV in it!!!!! Not something I would have ever thought of doing, and the kids and parents are deprived of some very special time.
I am totally on your side, this is exactly how I will be when my gang start producing. One nana will stuff them full of rubbish, ruin them by spending vast amounts on expensive toys, cloths and going to restaurants and theme parks. Then there will be me who will spend very little in money but everything in time and effort ...
Mind you I think we are a good few years off that stage yet so in the meantime I am picking up tips and pointers ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I know exactly what you mean. Both of mine have DVD TVs in their rooms - they even have one each for the car, which I can understand for long journeys and their mum needing to concentrate on the motorway etc., but I remember driving the length of the M6 on my own with DD aged 9, she was reading Secret Seven books the whole way. But in fairness she had no-one to argue with!
I have explained to DGD about bright light at bedtime keeping her brain awake when the rest of her wants to sleep, and that it is not a happy combination, and she understands that and almost never asks for a DVD. But with DGS I don't even think about his TV, it's storytime.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Morning all - I am all behind again. I wrote a very comprehensive To Do list in hourly slots so I can cram in as much as possible,
assuming this grey cloud ever shifts and I can get outside to get some vitamin D and to reset my body cloud, sleeping badly again so I think it needs some natural light
And that was before I went into the living room and found one cat seems to have spent the night shredding fur everywhere, either that or there has been a spectacular fight in the night ...:D
and then the postie comes and brings things that need sorting out and thoughts and decisions made ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
