TM, if you buy anything from Approved Foods proceed with caution. There are definitely bargains to be had but look carefully at sizes, some things are gigantic.

Never did finish my last catering tub of Mayo it went rather lumpy :o

    Good morning Elite

Mr Berry Bear decided yet again that 8 am is the time to get up  I'm not used to this. But it does have benefits. Yesterday morning I cleared out two kitchen wall cupboards, store cupboard stuff. Tthrew away some very old bits and then some went into stash cupboard and now I can actually see what's in there without things falling out when I open the doors :j Mind you I did manange another sleep in the afternoon/early evening to catch up with sleep

Kit did the cups/mugs and glasses cupboard last weekend and we did the dog food, medication cupboard together. So with only one wall cupboard left to do, I'm going to tackle the tea, coffee, etc cupboard this morning. Then have my shower and wash my hair before my stint at dog charity shop this afternoon

Have a good day everyone :money:

  • Just logged in to my Approved Food account and signed up to email offers in the hope of getting "the" email :D

I like Approved Food but the delivery charge tends to put me off.

  • Still yawning here.

Late night, looked after the grandkids so DD could go out. They had some new devices to show me, so they were busy demonstrating those to start off with, but DD had cleared out some stuff from the loft and had put my old Cluedo on one side for me to take home as apparently it wasn't wanted. So I opened that to check it was all there, and next thing it was three hours later and we'd played it about 7 times... didn't even have the TV on...

It was like going back in time to 1965... :D

  • We look after dgs twice a week after school (hoping to cut it down to once a week as causing problems with OH's work). When we first started he demanded use of phone/tablet or to have TV on. We always said no, doesn't help when the grandkids come around with our son and ask to use tablet or computer, we say no and he demands to know why not. Anyway, things have changed. Now he races into the lounge and chooses one of four games we have that are suitable for him, he loves playing them :D

Round their house the TV is always on, and when we asked what book we were to read to the kids when they went to bed when we were babysitting we were told that that is too old, they now have the a DVD on in their room. They are 6 and 2, share a room, and they have a TV in it!!!!! Not something I would have ever thought of doing, and the kids and parents are deprived of some very special time.
