That is a shame that you cannot order that item with giftcards (I note that it is a catalogue number not a voucher code).
Now out of sheer curiosity, I wondered if all the cards are the same? I had tried 3 x £10 Black and 3 x £10 Pink and they didn't work. So I thought what about 3 x £10 Thank You ... and the order has gone through . Also just had another look and 3 x £10 Spend Here cards also go through to checkout.
Now to see what arrives/gets credited... nothing lost in trying.
Don't forget QC/TCB.

Yes I know ... how do you think I got so many in the first place? Many were courtesy of a similar promotion to this and signing up for their credit card.
I just need to get on spending them when a decent offer comes up!

The 3000 offer was not showing on my app either but the product identified was easy enough to find and order on the catalogue. I am just wondering if it is once per account (I did get as far as the ordering screen on a second order then have paused as I thought I may be pushing my luck ... or rather, Mrs Anon has ordered and I was on my second order).
Thank you Picasso7 for the headsup.

Really? You don't need six months for that, you could probably find it within one week. The BBC reporter says they got the difference from T on each time - should have had DTD:rotfl:! I reckon it's the same across every supermarket retailer - remember the problems I had after Christmas across M and occasionally I come across incorrect SELs that are still up months after the price has changed.
Examples I've had in the past couple of years were some Chicken Nuggets whose SEL remained the same for over six months despite a change in the pack size - the situation was only finally changed when the store moved the entire freezer section around. I had some Coffee Essence last time that had apparently old SEL in two separate stores which caused me to think it may have gone back down in price - the product hasn't been the few pence cheaper for many months - but I ended up scanning the product, there was no change in price so the SELs that were up in the two stores appear to have been extremely OOD. I came across some wine sauce a while ago in one store with an old price showing that had not applied for months. I had another item more recently showing a price that hadn't applied for several months, which I ignored, and that's before we start on mbuy labels on or off - I had a couple of stores in January still showing an mbuy on one product that had expired on 24 December - the mbuy was still up for a further week when the product then went back onto mbuy so that the label was never changed. It appears it most likely showed the mbuy throughout, even though the offer had been off on several weeks - although at least it did have the expiry date showing back then so should have been more obvious that it was off... except that stores sometimes keep SELs up when offers have been extended. As one member of staff told me recently, "you just never know whether it's on offer or not."
I think it's a problem across retailers. I think it's probably the case that fewer staff were available over Christmas, hence the increased problems I had in January - with half of stores showing an offer and half not showing it, on what felt like every item. The stores don't have the staff so each store has managed to change half of what it needed to - and managed to change a different set of items in every store - they will just never catch up with what they need to and can't tell whether something is OOD or not.
T is apparently now checking all the prices in all its stores. It probably has around 3,000 stores and 20,000 items in each one - so, 60,000,000 price labels:rotfl:. I should not worry about it affecting DTD though as, whatever they do, there will always be some price labels that are OOD. So, a problem in M and a problem in T. A problem in A by the looks of it as well. I had the SP Spaghetti tin in my A - the label for them not updated - I informed them for the £2 GC. Despite this, the price label remained the same, allowing me to have another go the following week for another £2!:D They told me the price had probably gone up:rotfl: - I knew it had as the price label was wrong. I note the price is now showing 14p today, but the price has gone back down. I can't imagine that the other supermarkets will have every price label in every store correct.0 -
