Thank you for the burnt on pan tip :T

    You're welcome.

Put pan on stove with water in, add a bit of Daz and bring to boil, leave to cool then wash as normal. Or repeat, if it's stubborn. Rinse well.

At present, I have some Daz with boiling water from the kettle in a pyrex dish (I made and baked stuffing in that, so you can imagine.)

Bubbs, it was on my app under offers. I had to link my account to my Nectar card and it seems to think I am a business so I didn't tell it I wasn't. Search for xxxxxxx (whoops sorry Redfox, forgot!) and it comes up. It didn't work with a one4all card but does seem to work multiple times though only one per order.

I couldn't find the right Optiwell yesterday and bought the larger size using my MOC for a free one. COS has just accepted it and credited me £1 so I am very pleased.

For any one who still hasn't been hooked into the Mr shoes haircare RTC/own brand cheap and wants to make use of the advantage points
voucher.....I noticed that they do a large own brand sized hairspray range that seems to be reduced to £1.50 a can....might be something a little different to shampoo and probably good value at 2 cans for £1.

I went for a little walk in the sun this afternoon....and although I had a good look in Mr Shoes....I did resist.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

I got medium sizes £1 each as I find the large cans a bit unwieldy. Got extra points too, as in my A-card offers online they were doing 50pts and 75pts - one of these was vaguely labelled 'Professional Hair Care' and both worked on the own brand spray, both were applied to one receipt automatically, so I had 325 pts on one transaction. Also there's triple pts on any Shoes own brand toiletries and that worked on the cheap poo.

Just did kitchen and bathroom floors with a teeny drop of Mint & TeaTree in the water - came up lovely with no artificial chemical smell. Whole place just smells clean.

Sadly seren,I rarely use hairspray and a can will last years....I still have a few of the testing ones I think either mr shoes or the scots sent last year or even the year before...

but I have loved this current promotion on RTC/points!!!!!

What has been good is that each shop has different things...and the more you look, the more you find.....

Thanks HG....I'm not always convinced about having energy to do things, sometimes it's just better to keep myself busy rather than to dwell too much on other issues.
I've felt myself slowly sinking back to a very dark place very gradually over perhaps the last 6 weeks or so....and its a place I dont want to be....therefore its time to start to put things in a better order.
My new role I think will help.it's doing what I'm good at but have not done since working days.Hopefully it wont take up too much time once things are licked into shape but in the interim 6 weeks or so I can see the challenge that awaits, and in a weird way I'm quite looking forward to the battle!

Just on this LEJC....a close colleague has amazed me in recent weeks. She had descended into a low mood after Christmas and challenged herself to start feeling better ( I'm not talking about depression here and obviously not talking about a quick fix)
She has set herself small targets and built a strict routine into her day and it's around the following. It's common sense really :)

Evidence suggests there are five steps we can all take to improve our mental wellbeing.
If you give them a try, you may feel happier, more positive and able to get the most from life.
    What is mental wellbeing?

Sarah Stewart-Brown, professor of public health at the University of Warwick and a wellbeing expert, says: "Feeling happy is a part of mental wellbeing. But it’s far from the whole.
"Feelings of contentment, enjoyment, confidence and engagement with the world are all a part of mental wellbeing. Self-esteem and self-confidence are, too.
"So is a feeling that you can do the things you want to do. And so are good relationships, which bring joy to you and those around you.
"Of course, good mental wellbeing does not mean that you never experience feelings or situations that you find difficult,” says Professor Stewart-Brown. "But it does mean that you feel you have the resilience to cope when times are tougher than usual."
It can help to think about "being well" as something you do, rather than something you are. The more you put in, the more you are likely to get out.
"No-one can give wellbeing to you. It's you who has to take action," says Professor Stewart-Brown.
    Five steps to mental wellbeing

Below are five things that, according to research, can really help to boost our mental wellbeing:
Connect – connect with the people around you: your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. Spend time developing these relationships. Learn more in Connect for mental wellbeing.
Be active – you don't have to go to the gym. Take a walk, go cycling or play a game of football. Find an activity that you enjoy and make it a part of your life. Learn more in Get active for mental wellbeing.
Keep learning – learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and a new confidence. So why not sign up for that cooking course, start learning to play a musical instrument, or figure out how to fix your bike? Find out more in Learn for mental wellbeing.
Give to others – even the smallest act can count, whether it's a smile, a thank you or a kind word. Larger acts, such as volunteering at your local community centre, can improve your mental wellbeing and help you build new social networks. Learn more in Give for mental wellbeing.
Be mindful – be more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you. Some people call this awareness "mindfulness". It can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.
