Unless people get different offers, the 500 point train offers expire in 3 days, so maybe the 1500 is coming up next as it couldn't apply both to your next train booking?

I just got my bonus applied - 100 points.

Thanks Anon, lets hope so :)

Mine was all green before i had done the qualifying number of shops. I think it was picking up point additions at CS as being a swipe

Maybe they have corrected it to only pick up purchases. My count hasn't dropped because I went on to do more qualifying spends so i can't confirm if that's it

Sounds like you could be right aau1. I still have a couple of weeks before the end date so will just buy a small purchase every day or so.

Have you thought about making an appointment with your local Pension Wise which is free. They can't give financial advice but they can explain things in detail. We went and it was quite helpful.
Yes, I did this a couple of months ago. It was helpful to a point but this sipp business didn't get mentioned. I've just had another read through of the thread that juju linked to and it's starting to sink in slowly I think.

    Good evening all.

Why did all those ladies at the BAFTAs have no fronts in their dresses?

I went to see a Pensionwise bloke about 18 months ago and sipps were not mentioned. Have they suddenly become favourable. Must have a read of the other threads. I take it I just put sipp into search.

Nellie and I would like to report Hidden Figures was a really good film and very inspirational and with the bonuse of Kevin Costner in it too :)

    Thank you Josie Ann

I'm glad you enjoyed Hidden Figures and I was looking forward to seeing it too. Drove over to P'boro and into SCase cinema to be directed over to the manager who had a small crowd of sad people around him. It seems that showfilmfirst had just kept issuing ticket vouchers even after the allocated number had gone, so they weren't letting anyone in with these vouchers. However, they dealt with it very well, allowing us all to choose another film to watch to which we were given a free ticket at SFfirst's expense

I opted to go back later in the evening and see Hacksaw Ridge, as didn't really fancy any of the others. Not a wasted journey as I was calling at larger Sains over there - blown my budget as they stocked their Free From cheeses which I had tried from my local store but they never got them in again. £30 of cheese, plus fruit and veg and a few cashback items, totalling £62+ but I haven't done my spreadsheet yet to work out nett cost after cashback

Got home, scanned and put shopping away and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Dashed up at 6.45, left house at 7.03 and got in to see Hacksaw Ridge at 7.30. Scheduled start was 7.20 but of course still had to sit through loads of adverts first. Very impressed at Showcase as all seats were electric recliners with loads of armspace and in-tbetween rows. No having to get up and down when anyone needed in or out. Plus the film was BRILLIANT. Yes plenty of blood and guts, but it was a WW2 film and American, but it was SO inspiring. True story of Conscientious Objector who still enlists and goes to war as a medic, without a gun, to save lives not kill, and he certainly did. Thoroughly recommended

Got home 10.30 after a fantastic night out and I now know that going to the cinema (or pictures as I would call it) on my own is perfectly fine and I'll do it again

Just worked for me - more draw entries but got yesterday's through before twelve for 50p win and more draw entries

Although I didn't sleep on Friday night and got only got about 4 hours sleep last night, I am now wide awake. But I am hoping for a long lie in tomorrow, doing nothing. In agony with frontal knee pain when walking around, so took more painkillers and waiting for them to kick in
