Hi TM yes I did enjoy it. Not such a big twist at the end but I do know what you mean when people build something up and then it's not what you are expecting:(
I haven't watched the Shannon Matthews drama but I might wait until next week and watch both parts in one go. From what I've read I don't think Shannon was involved with the drama at all. Who knows what she must make of it all :(

I may be in the minority here but I think its all a bit wrong, its not that long ago and as you say the girl is only 18 . can you imagine going into college or work and everyone gossiping about it . not knowing its your old life . how must she feel. Even though she is not really in it , I feel its her story to tell when and if she feels the time is right. Not the minute she is 18 a TV company to drag it all up for her :( .

Womble 8/2 A v M.....Savvy something for you to look at...

    1x Kellogg's Fruit 'n Fibre (750g) £2.99 £2.50
    1x ASDA Baker's Selection Big Eat Large White Rolls (6pk) £1.00 £0.50
    1x Young's Wholetail Scampi (220g) £4.00 £2.00

I don't know why they only bought 1 wholetail scampi as it is 2F£5...So an extra quid would have given them double the amount..Nothing else purchased in the offer.....But.....Morrisons price takers have messed up as wholetail scampi is £5:83......They are comparing it against youngs scampi bites which is currently on offer for £2...Seems like a good time to eat a bit of scampi tail.....

I am sure someone will work out the price....but this is one for Savvy to look at...

I've not even got the Wholetail Scampi on msm for A, so maybe it will drop off entirely soon. I've not really seen any additional point to buying Wholetail in the past, until you mention it now, as this is the same weight as the Scampi Bites anyway but maybe you get fewer breadcrumb content with the Wholetail than the Bites? Even at £2 of course, whether it's Wholetail or Bites, it's twice the cost it 'should be' as it was Ross Scampi Bites (220g) at £1 in Iceland (no longer appears to have them:() or Kiltie on offer at £1 in M but now seems to be Whitby Breaded Scampi Bites (250g) at 99p in Farmfoods. 30g more for a penny less than what M was (M's offer appears to have gone but will come back around again sometime soon - no need to bother with it ever again as now found Farmfoods alternative at better price). I suppose if anyone particularly wants Wholetail Scampi... However, I'd tend to go for the Bites rather than some lower weight Wholetail, even if there's probably more fish in the Wholetail (but really not as much as twice as much?).

In fact you might get more water in Wholetail, and this may put you off Scampi altogether...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2357200/Ever-wondered-whats-REALLY-scampi-Youll-wish-hadnt-asked-.html

What a shame - for producers etc. - that we have this Internet where we search for "Scampi", in order to try to find the prices of various Scampi products, and find something like that. A bit like Googling for a firm's name, trying to find their website but, instead of just finding their website, finding out all the complaints against the firm as well:rotfl:.

They may have bought just one as perhaps the mbuy wasn't showing on the shelf? Or sometimes - most often! - people are in a rush (they have only a few seconds to decide whether or not to buy products) and they don't process that there is an mbuy on the product that could 'save' them money (by spending a pound more:(, but getting twice as much - clearly cheaper though, than two products at £4 each split across shops. Except that... due to the M comp., it's cheaper to buy one against M (and two is just the same price, so paying twice as much for twice as much). We all do things on 'auto pilot', without fully realising we are doing them, at times.

I really enjoyed it Nellie....did you?

People at work were saying there was a big twist at the end so I got myself psyched up for it....which was a bit of a disappointment.

I've never watched so much TV.....:D

Last night I started watching the Shannon Matthews drama and some of the scenes were spot on, as I remember them being portrayed on the news at the time. Just wondered whether Shannon herself was involved? Did she need to give permission even? Can't imagine how she must have felt watching it....if she did. Second part next week:o I thought it was tonight:o

Got it recorded, I also thought the second part was meant to be tonight. Apparently Shannon is 18 and deliberately wasn't the focus of the programme.

Radio 4 interviewed someone from the programme (I think it was a producer) this week. They said that the focus was the community spirit, not Shannon. The interviewer highlighted that Shannon had not been asked and that her grandparents had spoken against the programme. The interviewee continued to state the focus was not Shannon but the strength of the community, but eventually became rather annoyed with the questions and was rather unprofessional.
