I am still scratching my head!

Whilst I really don't like the idea of the UK being used... I would hate to think that we were the type of country that turns away a pregnant lady as she could not afford medical care. Those 2 babies are alive because the UK has a heart, and that makes me very proud to be British. x

Article in the paper today obviously following on from the programme. It appears IVF clinics in Nigeria implant multiple embyros at a time ( against UK that only implants 2 as a rule ) and they then encourage the women to go to US or UK as them and us have very good care for premature babies. And most do not pay their bills but we send millions to Nigeria in aid.
My Mum was taken to hospital in Switzerland with heart problems and unfortunately my sis had not taken her ehic card and did not call me to ask for her NI number ( which is in my head ). My sister had to pay the bill but after 9 months the UK refunded it as Switzerland are part of the EHIC scheme.

My dad bless him is in his 70s, filled up both his and mum's car a tenner at a time and was well pleased with his points, couple of 1,000 and 500 and the rest he got were 200. Mum texted me with a breakdown :rotfl:

Years ago I saw a programme about people who had HIV and would come into the UK for treatment, the hospitals near specific airports were crippled by it.

Don't get me on our aid programme... I think we could be here for hours!
