If a non-british person turned up asking for "emergency" treatment I would expect them to have insurance or would demand advance payment for as much as the treatment could cost, and if it cost less they would get a refund. If they could not provide payment then they would be invited to go to a country where they could get treatment, ideally back to the country they just flew in from.
I know there are absolute emergencies, in which case the minimum treatment should be given, and the person then handed to the police until they provided payment.
I would certainly question anyone turning up with a suitcase.
I agree wholeheartedly E, too many getting away with free treatment  xxThere's no place like home

I think LEJC has really summed up really well the current nectar promotion. Very poor results for me and my family. 6 petrol £10 all 200 points and 6 shops in store all 200 points. 4 of my shops were on baby formula which is the same price everywhere so added with a optiwell coupon was the best price anywhere. DS usually shops at tesco but got load of points last time did his weekly shop there splitting into separate £10 so he was one of the ones probably sucked in! So 10pc off very expensive groceries. Will go and get some petrol tomorrow. The guy in front of me at the petrol station got 5000 pointer and didn't have a clue what it was. I offered to swap it for my 200 pointer but he thought his was 'probably' worth more. Most people just filling their tanks as normal not like us lot.
I did notice they had some try me free yogurt drinks with the optiwell ones so might be worth buying to make up a spend. I will have a look at mysupermarket in a minute to see if I can see which ones they are.0 -

Came across this Bonne Maman jam and mug (boxed) in local superstore earlier. Would make a nice gift for someone at £2. Mug looks quite good quality.
It wasn't in the aisle with the jams though, was on a stand at the end of the milk aisle.
