    Guess what.......

    What?
Ever seen multiple clay pigeons RELEASED for people to get? Normally 3 at a time not to be greedy?
    Hey, online exact time https://time.is/GMT
Wonder what happens at exactly 21:27:00 ?????

    Really?

  • I hope someone got some, I got enough another day and reserved 27, then they disappeared out of basket, I think I was holding them too long. I promise to do better if there is a next time :(

I took all my petrol ones to CS and asked them to be added in one go because i knew the instore tills would reject duplicates. The woman said i had to do 7 separate shops to claim the 7 vouchers

I politely explained the t&cs to her

She then muttered "you're only supposed to do 1 petrol fill"

So i politely explained the t&cs to her :rotfl:

She then added the vouchers in one go for me

I got the same script, but as I have not read the T&C's yet, I could not answer in the same way as you. I did reply to her 'Did you get these vouchers today?' with 'Well I could not have got them yesterday, as it only started today'. Perhaps that set her off on the wrong foot :o:D

    My S shop:

5 x £10 of fuel yielded 2000, 2x500, 2x200 so even if it was a bit more expensive, that comes to £17.50 in points without double up. Well worth doing and I hope that I might get another tenner in on Sunday.

    Instore shops yielded: 3x200, 1000, 5000 = £33 -- can that be right please?!

I used 2 pants vouchers (well worth it as one of the shops was the one which gave me the 5000 voucher), re-bought a posh loo brush in the sale as it had reduced (I bought it in the sale for £8, SEL £6, scanned at £3.60 -- will take it back with my original receipt), bought shopping which I needed and which was cheaper or the same price in S, including a joint for the weekend (reduced which made it sensible to buy). Also bought things which I needed which gave me extra points (eg broccoli) and bought two £10 plus bedding/clothes items which I shall return.

The biggest disappointment was discovering that I can't use my gift card at the petrol station. I was also told I can't use it for gift cards though it doesn't actually say that on the back so I might just try it unless someone knows that it doesn't work please?

Who told you this?? I have used gift vouchers on petrol on numerous occasions.

Had 5x200 now. Bloke infront of me at petrol station got 2000 grrrr
    Guess what.......
I have missed them again? :D

If ever I do catch them in stock, can I only order 3, or is it in multiples of 3, so I can get 6? And do they work out at £1 each? TIA

I ended up having meningitis in Spain about 15 years ago, and I was there with work... Ambulances demanded payment there and then.
Insurance shipped out DH, within 2 hours they had taken all the cash he had off him!

This happened to my Aunt when she was in France, she had insurance but had to pay ambulance before they would move her from the accident :(

Multiples of 3 kick the offer in. so six is fine. I just mentioned at when I wanted to release them because I wanted everyone to get a fair share.

I WILL do it quicker if there is a next time, fair is fair. Got mine, so will try to help everyone else

I think the points coupon excludes minis and travel.

3 x 200 points for me. I will pop back and get 3 more vouchers later this evening before fizz.

Anyone know if you can get wine and beer to make up your £10 (I know spirits will be excluded.)

Probably answered but works with wine. Stamford Brook I was told was nice. £4.50 so just £1 filler. Only 200 points so not battering the game.
JC merlot is priced at £5.25 in Sains But no stock anywhere near me
  • Evening all - had a lovely day with my Sis plus DS and DD. Meant to do some serious shopping - well Sis wanted to but ended up in a pub by the river for a long lunch.

We did pop into Shoes on the way back and picked up Xmas wrapping packs - 4 rolls paper, tags and ribbon for 40p each. Then the heavens opened with real icey rain  poor. Sis - it's been a couple of decades since she has experienced a British winter! Headed home for nice cuppa and a warm up. :rotfl:

Had a nice surprise from Markies - £10 off no min spend with combined nicely with my other Sparks offer :T

Off to book hotel and flights to Dublin now - popping over with Sis to catch up with my Mum's :A little Brother and Sister and no doubt will come back with a load of Irish sausages and black & white pudding.

Hope you are accumulating loads of points in Sainsbobs. xx
