I haven't been for grocery, only for £10 worth of petrol. 118.9 litre I think.

It's apparently 120.9 in another S a bit further away!

I was hooked in a bit with the petrol as my S is 2p per litre more than other supermarkets - they seem to have conveniently increased the price in the last week in time for this promo.

I would normally have gone to M for petrol.

I do agree with the disappointing prize ratio this time.

Seren...I hope that everyone doesn't think that I am being judgemental on the S promotion...I'm not...but it does seem that the "rewards" are less this time round than in previous times.

I filled up 2 goes on petrol this morning and TBH I am convinced that the price was 3p a litre more than possibly T who I drove past yesterday without giving it too much thought to look at their price because I was "hooked in" to go to S this morning!

The saving grace for us is that at least here we know to split shops into bitsized £10 but the mere muggle would not even think of that and quite happily spend whatever to get just a few points.

If you enjoy the collecting of the points then who am I to pour scorn on that or judge but I do wonder just how many of the elite have swapped their normal shop somewhere else this weekend for the promise of a reward from S.....at the moment results seem mediocre in terms of big point "wins"....but weigh that up against the possible increase in prices in S compared to where you normally shop and if its still a bonus to you then enjoy it....
The word "disappointed"has surfaced several times this afternoon...so that surely must translate into I was hooked in.....even just a little bit.

Totally agree I was disappointed but in £10 bits size fill I still gain slightly whatever I get The difference in Morrison was 2p less and could win I don't feel its gambling as it has a guarantee built in

Might be 10 stamps Seren as there is 6 sets in there. :o

Also got 3 nice and easy in Mr Shoes £1.50 each  I was very good and put one hair dye back as it was a bit brighter than my usual shade and I also was not tempted by any poos.

Anyone in P00le that uses blonde dyes there were loads on clearance shelf end of the hair aisle and also in their place lots Trevor Sorbie RTC poo and conditioner among other bits. :money:

I totally get it when you are buying what you normally buy and sucking up a slight price increase over your normal supermarket....but what I dont get are potentially those who then find other things to buy just because.....

....just because maybe you might win a few more points.

The thing is I expect the elation of buying whatever it was soon disappears when you realise that actually you got a pound back for something that you didnt really need in the first place....cue the ill fitting clothes senario or the trip back to the store to return even food purchases on the premise that its now not needed...all at additional cost in time and possibly money.

On that note...I'm off to open my fizz....Mr will I hope be home shortly

    Good Afternoon.
Well it's raining again.6th day running.
I thought about going to sainsbugs because I have a £10 gift card but changed my mind in the middle of the night. It just didn't make sense to gamble when I have loads of apgs to use(no clothes in my sainsbugs).

So before it rained I went for a womble instead.

    Evening luvlies

Spent most of today in S :rotfl:, went home for lunch (we are only 5 mins from our superstore) then went round again. I did put a lot of effort into creating my lists so was well prepared, 3 shops were just pence as used lots of mocs.

I'm well happy though, did a total of 13 shops including 5 £10 fuel fills 2 of which gave me 5,000 points :D. Also received 4 x 1000 instore and 1 x 500, the rest were for 200. Have already taken clothing back from this morning's shop and will do the same tomorrow.

For those checking out the freezer cabinets the gingerbread ice cream is now scanning at 10p, I bought 7 :o.

Off to make tea, I'll catch up in a bit :)

Totally agree LEJC, I will now only go for things I need/can use or are near free, I used to think I can sell things on and make a profit, but never did!
Enjoy your fizz, I'm off to the pub, Grumpy old Git is paying:beer:
