Hi All,
5x200, 1x500 and 1x2000 for me. Also got a £3 off £20 on next shop.
Not too bad. I was disappointed to miss this offer last time it was on.
Jacobs Creek Merlot has £1.50 reward on COS and this is currently £5.25 in Sainsbobs according to MSM.
Cheers,

Wel done both, i got 500 and 200, will do more tomorrow
There was a programme on about this the other night , they do give people the bills but if they cant afford it like a lady that was took ill on a plane and landed at heathrow and gave birth too quads , she got brought in as emergency and the babies were in ICU for weeks and was she 500k:eek::eek: she wasnt coming here it was circumstances
She had been going to America but as she couldn't prove how she would pay her medical bills so they wouldn't let her in so she was packed off back to Nigeria. Became ill on plane as diverted to London.
She had family in America but none of them would have been able to pay her medical expenses.
Not unavoidable as really shouldn't have been travelling at 6 months pregnant with quads to a country she had no right to enter.
Must have been traumatic for her and bless only 2 babies still living.

S is expensive for normal shopping especially now they don't brand match. That spoilt all the fun!
I used to go for basics soya milk (but they stopped doing it and introduced a more expensive own-brand version) basics teabags (price doubled) and their extra thick bacon (but A's extra thick is just as nice plus you get 30% more for the same price.) Sausages, well even MS can compete and win on those, and meat generally is cheaper at the butcher for the same or better quality. So no reason for me to go there, really, especially when there are 6 reasons to avoid it.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Seren...I hope that everyone doesn't think that I am being judgemental on the S promotion...I'm not...but it does seem that the "rewards" are less this time round than in previous times.
I filled up 2 goes on petrol this morning and TBH I am convinced that the price was 3p a litre more than possibly T who I drove past yesterday without giving it too much thought to look at their price because I was "hooked in" to go to S this morning!
The saving grace for us is that at least here we know to split shops into bitsized £10 but the mere muggle would not even think of that and quite happily spend whatever to get just a few points.
If you enjoy the collecting of the points then who am I to pour scorn on that or judge but I do wonder just how many of the elite have swapped their normal shop somewhere else this weekend for the promise of a reward from S.....at the moment results seem mediocre in terms of big point "wins"....but weigh that up against the possible increase in prices in S compared to where you normally shop and if its still a bonus to you then enjoy it....
The word "disappointed"has surfaced several times this afternoon...so that surely must translate into I was hooked in.....even just a little bit.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

I haven't been for grocery, only for £10 worth of petrol. 118.9 litre I think.
It's apparently 120.9 in another S a bit further away!“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I have managed to use up 2 toiletry items, even if they were only trial sizes:rotfl:
I've not been tempted by Mr Shoes (yet!) but there is one mear the Sainsbobs I will be visiting a few times tomorrow.
In addition to needing to seriously reduce the number of toiletries and cosmetics I have I also need to seriously cull clothes and shoes!! The amount of 'stuff' we have in this house has reached critical mass:eek:
I made a start today and have thrown out 4 pairs of socks and 2 pairs of knickers, I have also 'gifted' 4 pairs of new knickers (well if you could call them that, they were more like dental floss) to my young neighbour who wears knicks with no bum!
I did buy 3 new things, courtesy of a few APGs at A's on Tuesday though...
In terms of weight/spaceit's not a win, but in terms of numbers it is.
Also on Tuesday I returned the fleece I bought from M&S unfortunately I forgot my receipt and ended up with a credit note:o0
