I've bought bedding, ill fit clothes, and things I can use coupons towards. Used an S gift card I got a while ago as goodwill so not spent much real money.

    And petrol I needed anyway.

Do you still do those APG things? I've not done one of those for about 2 years!!!

    Have a good weekend.

Thats serious spending....sometimes I wonder if the promotions hope that this will be the outcome.

I suppose its horses for courses and I can understand the petrol as its usually similarly priced in most supermarkets but spending on groceries has always been IMO quite expensive in S compared to the other supermarkets.

I'm not in any way challenging what you bought Sarah but is that your normal weekly spend or have you been slightly swayed by the promise of extra points.

Even ill fitting clothes would get me a reputation in my local store if I started to return them.
Im not trying to be controversial or judgemental but it does seem a little bit that S has a very good marketing dept that controls these bonus events, and all too easily shoppers can transfer their spending to the brand for just a minimal gain in points.
