Pleased it went well for you and that this is the beginning. Fingers crossed that you get some sleep. of the road to recovery.Jeremiah_T_Stone wrote: »Hi altojack, thank you for asking.
The chemotherapy went fine, I actually felt very calm and relaxed afterwards. Think it was because something is finally being done to hopefully kill some of my cancer cells. The only problem is the mega doses of steroids gave me insomnia. So haven't slept all night, and feeling dozy and a bit nauseas today

Yes 3Dogs, My mum and dad were living in Wallsend when I was born. Tynedale Avenue, my dad had a garage on Coast Road at the time.

Dad was born in Wellington Quay and mum in Byker. My accent is very light but certain words give me away :rotfl: and if I get  or excited , back it comes
Sorry I don't know how to multi-quote
My late Mam was born in Wallsend! As well as her 3 younger sisters and her younger brother.Fighting Recurring Cancer0 -

About to have lunch and then off to S. Not as exciting as last time but I do need fuel and they are usually cheapest.
Downloaded a new lists app, Anylist, which I am liking very much. It groups my list automatically (and I can change that) and I can write notes under each item too.0 -

warning. if your t.com registered clubcard is a clubcard plus. the tills may freeze when using. i froze 2 in 5 minutes. i phoneD up clubcard and they told me to change my t.com card to another one i have. works fine now.
on a happier note. my 1st 2 x £1 transactions have given a bonus of 200 points. not the 100 bonus i was expecting. (wondering if my clubcard plus caused this)
Do the bonus points show on your receipts each time? I have the app and have used it 6 times but no sign of bonus points :mad:It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

i never got receipts on them shops as the till froze. but by looking at my current collection period on my clubcard account, i can see they were added the day after the transaction.
the points for the shop were added on the 1st. the bonus points were added on the 2nd. so i would guess the bonus points would NOT show on receipt.
the dates i just mentioned have just shown on my account today.0 -
for old times sake, i think ill go to asda and count 8 items. then just come home again without buying anything.

S has been good to me....
The petrol is 3p a litre more I think than usual but in 2 goes I got 200 and then 2000....decided not to chance another today but will go back tomorrow.
Mr Shoes is throwing up so many surprises....the more you look in the haircare, the more you find....so many dry shampoos are also clearance and Trevor sorbie stuff too...seen plenty of those for £2 a bottle so combined with a cheapie thing too it doesnt work out much over.
aussie small dry shampoos are reduced to 58p...they work well and are not classed as miniatures.
Have a look in hair colours too....nice and easy age defy have some colours reduced from 6.99 to £1.75...again good if you combine with something less expensive.
As TM confirmed yesterday hairspray is a good one to have a look at and I found an orange flavoured HE shampoo for 75p too....so the branded stuff is still around.
There were lots of high end branded miniatures reduced to 50p or so...not necessarily good for the points promotion but if you are going away and want to take something nice with you, they may be worth a punt.
There were also some very good reductions on deep conditioning hair treatments and also rebalancing treatments...again if its something that you use regularly and would normally spend good money on them, there were some cracking reductions from £20 plus down to around £3.
I still havn't spent any cash on what I have bought, just converted gift card to points.
All in all an enjoyable trip out in the rain....and I come home to find Snap tells us I was top of the quiz yesterday....miracles!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Took me ages to find it too...click on find out more which is at the bottom of the soup recipesSunshinemummy wrote: »On savvy deals FB they are saying that the NCGS £1 coupons are back on..... there is a link but I cannot figure it out x0
