    Evening

Just a quickie before bed as only just got in and I'll be out again early .
In response to some comments as I seem to have lost my quotes...yes I did think of buying new and taking old back but I registered it with morphy richards when I bought it and therefore linked so didn't think that to be a wise move, the stupid thing is when you register it it asks for all your details ,where you bought it ,date time blah blah and for what reason! Because I had done this I didn't think I would need it
Anyway I was already in talks with sainsburys and they offered a gesture of goodwill to put towards a new kettle in the form of points which was very good of them as they didn't have to :)

Thanks to all who advised x
One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.

If anyone has only just finished the annual struggle with their tax return then it might be worth listening to this as next year it will be a quarterly event

    - its a 7 min segment on Money Box live

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08c0rfv

Imagine a world where you no longer have to submit an annual tax return...

Instead you'll have to do it digitally every three months. And from April 2018 it will be mandatory if you are self employed, VAT registered or a property landlord.

It's all part of the government's Making Tax Digital initiative designed to transform our tax system. So if you are one of the groups affected, how prepared are you? You can put your questions and comments to a panel of experts joining Adam Shaw on Wednesday 1st February from 3pm.

    Call 03700 100 444 from 1pm to 3.30pm on Wednesday 1st or e-mail moneybox@bbc.co.uk now.

Well that's just c£$p. I have to wait until my Mortgage Statement until October. I get charged if I want interim statements. And it doing something 4 times instead of once. This more about getting rid of peaks and troughs in their accounting than for our benefit
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
