Good morning all, not nice out there.

My plans have been mucked up, my mate has obviously caught something from tweets and cannot meet me as would be normal, so I need to find something to do this morning, and I will be either walking or cycling so will almost certainly get wet

Sorry your mates caught my bug :(

Morning all. I slept in this morning so I am an hour behind but looking at the weather outside I don't think I have missed anything.

All three cats have eaten and gone back to sleep on their various blankets so that tells you how much its raining outside

Mr Rat casually wondered across the lawn last night at 10.30 activating the security light, sadly no sign of Mr Fox who often runs through at that time. Mr Rat must have walked past the rat trap as well :(

According to Anon it is a computer virus :rotfl::rotfl:

In all seriousness she gets a lot of bugs, she has 6 kids, four of whom go to school, and a grandson too that she looks after a few days after school. I am amazed you don't go down with more bugs considering the amount of contact you have with schoolkids

    Good morning all....

tweets...hope you are feeling a little better today, but good that you are staying away from school to make sure the bug is fully cleared.

I could have done with Sal's grabber yesterday....I popped to A...but left empty handed as they didnt have what I wanted....I checked the carpark and clean as a whistle but the bushes were a different story, lots of pickings just that little bit too far out of reach!

A set of tenants need a new boiler/water tank combination as apparently they have not noticed the previous one leaking...the flat below did though and kindly collected a few buckets of water for us too.....hey ho!
Times like this I really wish we had a plumber in the family, but sadly not so it may well be that frugal Feb continues a little longer and is rapidly becoming frugal 2017.....still the heating company are now able to attend tomorrow and get the job started so that is one less thing for me to worry about.

I've actually got used to this dry jan every other day...OH is not so sure but I think I may extend it to see how far it takes me

An Innocent tea towel arrived yesterday, bringing the tally to one pair of socks and a tea towel....hopefully still lots to receive but moving in the right direction.

....and on the note of speeding fines...between us OH and I have had 2 parking tickets,1 US violation and no speeding offences....and a combined driving driving years of something just over 60!

Thank you LEJC I feel back to normal.

By normal I mean tweets normal :D

Been nice having a lie in the last 2 days :T

I have my alarm set same time 7 days a week so only lie ins are Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday when I am on holiday, :T

a quick question please, apologies I know this is a sensitive subject so put me on ignore.

Why are some people given chemotherapy drugs through a drip and some by tablets?
I've only just realised that some people have chemotherapy drugs for other non cancer related condition. 2 people I know have these and I think they have the same non cancer condition but one is getting tablets and one is getting them via a drip.

    Thank you Enterprise 1701C
I'm having it intravenously at hospital starting Thursday.
Today is the prep talk :(

I was in two (or maybe three) minds about posting it, I edited my post to delete the chemotherapy bit, but you were too fast :)
That's why it all now reads a little weird lol

Good luck with your treatment on Thursday, just in case I dont see you again before then. You did right to be not quick enough deleting. Just look at the support and good wishes going your way.

You're bound to be wanting to roar and rage later on and that's just what the Elite are here for, to listen and support xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Not sure mhoc. My Dad had the drip. Maybe they target different types?
