Good morning all, not nice out there.
My plans have been mucked up, my mate has obviously caught something from tweets and cannot meet me as would be normal, so I need to find something to do this morning, and I will be either walking or cycling so will almost certainly get wet :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Good luck with the chemo. My FiL is currently on up to 27 tablets in a day. He is 84, it will never clear the cancer completely but seems to be holding it back. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning All :hello:
Well done to TM and anyone else doing dry January :T I've done pretty badly. I had decided to drink just once a week, with the idea that it would be more sustainable to carry through the year. Unfortunately, not only have a gone a bit overboard on the one day, but I have drunk the last 3 nights :rotfl: not going to beat myself up about it though, shall continue 1 day a week through Feb and my new challenge of the month is no biscuits, as I can sometimes get through a whole packet while I'm at my desk
I was wondering why I hadn't seen QoC posting and was wondering if she was okay...then the penny dropped. Glad that she is
Starting on a list for S at the weekend. It's a short list so far of 10 x milk, looking forward to it :TFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

A set of tenants need a new boiler/water tank combination as apparently they have not noticed the previous one leaking...the flat below did though and kindly collected a few buckets of water for us too.....hey ho!
Times like this I really wish we had a plumber in the family, but sadly not so it may well be that frugal Feb continues a little longer and is rapidly becoming frugal 2017.....still the heating company are now able to attend tomorrow and get the job started so that is one less thing for me to worry about.
I've actually got used to this dry jan every other day...OH is not so sure but I think I may extend it to see how far it takes me
An Innocent tea towel arrived yesterday, bringing the tally to one pair of socks and a tea towel....hopefully still lots to receive but moving in the right direction.
....and on the note of speeding fines...between us OH and I have had 2 parking tickets,1 US violation and no speeding offences....and a combined driving driving years of something just over 60!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
