Is the other thread still open...and are people posting there?
...just curious as to whether it's something that is more long term than as an exile thing in choppy waters....are we becoming 2 camps?(not that that's to be interpreted as either a good or bad thing)

I think at the moment, it is mainly a place for people to keep in touch with those on 'holiday'. You dont have to join up to read it LEJC.

You must be the only person on here with one email address

Exactly what I would have done:T:T

We'll, everyone is complaining about the rain. We are about 4 miles from Farnborough as the crow flies and the air show got cut short today as they had to turn through power off in the halls due to flooding:eek:

I would have got out in my pyjamas.

Good Afternoon all :) Painted my long wall this morning and hated every minute of it . The worst part was moving all the heavy furniture out of the way. At least it looks nice. I did it in the cream after all and have a nice red border to go along the top to match my mainly red carpet :)

I remember this, 6 16 year olds on a long train trip to Wales :)

is it a direct train or do they have to change at Shrewsbury?

how are they going to manage the catering? how close are the supermarkets?

probably they will all be very polite and well mannered - their mums must have trusted them to behave so you have nothing to worry about :)

Hi mhoc, yes it was a direct train to Porthmadog, apparently there was a stop somewhere, where the train split and it went off somewhere else, I just made sure that they asked if they were on the right part of the train, had visions last night of him ringing saying they had ended up somewhere completely different.

He is quite useful at sticking the oven on to put a pizza in or making beans on toast :rotfl::rotfl: I did fill the freezer up with pizzas, and the cupboard with pasta, and beans and bread. Im sure they will be fine food wise, there are supermarkets not far about 20 mins walk away.

Its just the fact of leaving 6 young boys on their own in the house, I just hope they respect the place and leave it tidy and dont damage anything. I did speak to all parents and warn them though if any damage the boys would be paying for it :rotfl::rotfl:
