this weekend, due to either the side effects of medication or my c@rp cooking, my dearly beloved went shopping to buy bread, milk and broth mix.... he returned £62 later, very pleased with his bargains:eek:
On the plus side, new, to us, car bought and paid for and at least £35 saved on insurance despite it's value being 14 times more than the old one?? Hopefully £35 cashback to come on top:j
Home insurance renewed.. £30 saving and again possible £30 cash back:j
Young neighbour came to speak to me about bank accounts and I have referred her for a nationwide account so we should both receive £100 in the near future. :j
I did go across the road to the pub yesterday (it is very close to home!!) and our friend was telling us that that he and his DW had been shopping and come back over £200 lighter.. it was only a weekly shop for 3 adults and they had been to Aldi and home bargains, the only 'extra' item was an ironing board:eek: I now think that if I spent that in a month I have been careless.
