I went to the chip shop and asked for a jumbo sausage.
The bloke said "it won't be long"
I said "it better be!"

Good morning all, raining here. We tend to avoid going for a walk when it is raining because the mud gets rather slippery :eek:Good morning Elite :hello:
Raining here in Mid Suffolk and milder out there too. Not decided what to do today, probably just stay in and keep warm. Full table for lunch today. That's what I like, the boys and their girlfriends joining us, real family time.
Good morning locarr xx
Happy Silver Anniversary for yesterday House Elf, sounds like you had a wonderful day xx
This talk of houses reminds me how much I'd love to be living back home in the North, I can't though because I can't leave my lads behind.
Happy Sunday whatever you're doing
We've managed to get DD to move up north, I would not be surprised to see DS and his fianc!e and kids move up there, her mother moved up north not long ago and they seem to go up there frequently, in spite of the fact they never get time to go to see DS's seriously ill grandfather a quarter of the distance away :mad:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Morning all! Hope all is well in Elite land! I've been dipping in and out whilst trying to make the most of my last weekend of freedom before starting my new job tomorrow!Been visiting my parents as I didn't get chance to spend much time with them over Christmas, and DH is in NYC for work. Fortunately I persuaded him to take his new walking boots and decent coat as it started snowing there not long after he landed! He was going to wear office shoes and a light mac. I know he's more northern than me, but really :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What are the Sun holidays like please? Is it caravan park holidays for families? DH and I don't have kids but we're looking at ways of having cheap day or weekend trips away so we can have a break from work without breaking the bank.
Off to T shortly. Forgot to check the Freddo situation yesterday and I suspect it's too late now. At least my waistline will be better off if they're all gone :rotfl:0 -

It's sad when elderly relatives get forgotten or ignored and especially when they are seriously ill. They'll wish they had spent time visiting when it's too late
I don't blame you not going for a walk, who wants to trudge through slippy mud and end up on their bum  speaking from experience of courseThere's no place like home
