You have shops inside your shops  we don't even have a clothing department .

Used to be homeware and Tesco clothes and a coffee shop upstairs. Now homeware has moved downstairs, Clothes have been squashed up and Wallis and DP upstairs. Costa took over the coffee shop a few years ago.

Watford Tesco (not my store) is so big that google streetview put it on its mapping system.

    Good Morning

Weather similar to yesterdays foggy and drizzly rain.

My Tesco got 2 travellators one to get into the store I use the stairs or lift.

Then another one to get upstairs I use lift.

The travellators are so slow a snail walks faster :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have heard N Power are awful .

May be of interest from B&Q.

    Bosch 18V 2.0Ah Li-Ion Drill & Driver Twin Pack 2 Batteries £67 (with code stack) @ B&Q diy.com http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bosch-18v-2-0ah-li-ion-drill-driver-twin-pack-2-batteries-67-with-code-stack-b-q-2595783

The thread has code stacking x3 on orders over £75 which may be of more interest than the drills.

... though Just wondering, why would you heed two drills?

Well since my all singing, all dancing Phillips iron blew up on me and the " university" iron has proved to be useless, I need to search and buy a new iron today........and I hate buying electricals.

Argos has 124 to choose from and John Lewis 68:eek:

An exact replacement for the iron i blew up is far too expensive so I'm at the drawing board stage:o
I'm weighing up prices, promotions, price match and loyalty points but to research it fully will take hours:o.......not what I want to do on a Sunday morning:o

Bleugh bleurgh bleurgh and more bleurgh:rotfl::rotfl:

Silly question, I am sure you have... but have you complained to the company about the iron blowing up?

    Morning All!

We too have just paid real money to buy proper storage solutions for Xmas decorations!

It felt good seeing all those mis matched sweetly tins going into the recycling. Now everything is colour coded and accessible. :j

Wish I could say the same for the rest of the house!

    HE x

Every year I think I will get some apple boxes from the greengrocer with the cardboard divisions which are supposed to protect the apples but would be ideal for decorations.... and every year I never actually do this!

I think they are trying to make amends Rose. At some of the food banks in the North East....when someone applies for a food parcel, they are giving out grants up to the value of £49...... a credit which can be applied to whichever utility company you are with.:T

This is on top of the Warm Homes Discount scheme of £140 that most energy companies are participating in.

That is nice to hear but also highlights that people in our country often do not have their basic needs met (or don't have the skills to met their own basic needs).. very sad.

Don't get me wrong, I understand different tools for different purposes and different drills, or upgrades, just not two of the same at the same time. Though I suppose you do have the benefit of not having to wait for the battery to charge mid job :).
