Treated myself to some Skechers today, never spent £30 on trainers before but they are comfy :D

I managed to get some from Amazon a few weeks ago, the price changed not long after, got them for £18.00 :j:j

Next time I see some dead cheap I will be on it, but I have to try shoes on first. Having tried these on (and promptly bought them) I now know what will fit me so bring on the glitches :D

Not good for diets but just back from Asda. Big boxes of sports mixture are only 50p now. Got last 4 to go in pressie box. I also picked p a wrapped 511g box of Thorntons SEL reduced to clear £4 but it went through the till at £2. Went back and got the other 3 from the shelf as dates were Sept 17. Great for gifts as fully wrapped in gold paper with a bow on. Bar code is 5016346270743,

Ah, I was just about to post that - the reason it scans at £2 is because it is! It's Thorntons Classics Milk Dark White Chocolate Gift Wrapped (511g) at £2 RTC - your store had an incorrect SEL. Given that msm is showing a Thorntons Classics Selection 511g, which also says Milk, Dark and White on the box (non-gift wrapped) at £12:eek::eek: in A that seems quite a deal! Msm thinks that £7 at T is a savvy buy because it's 34% off:rotfl:. Thornton's Classics on RTC at M seem quite expensive - unless there's some larger box somewhere that is a better deal - I have two different versions, but both of them only 274g, at £3:eek:.

I've been incommunicado all day so was just returning to see if there had been any glitches on all day that are now impossible to get! I saw the Thorntons box in A without being aware of your post. The other item I saw in A was Famous Names Whiskey Collection (165g) at £1. Of course I saw no Sports Mixture at all - they must have been long gone in the store I used.
  • Good afternoon all, hope you are having a lovely day.

Don't forget the Co-op if you're passing one, for some rtc Xmas goodies, cheese selections currently half price, also assorted cheese biscuits (large Co-op packs) are 1.50 with dates to Dec 17, that's 33p per 100g.

Round here they do this half-price thing for a few days then dramatically reduce the lot to get rid, you just have to be lucky on the day. :D

It seems that the Freddo tube that was 75p in M yesterday has now joined the other Christmas tubes on 50p as I now have a 50p RTC SEL in an M! I don't know - they could just put any price on the SEL but it be wrong as I had M Gold Ribbon Spool 3 pack with a £1 RTC SEL in a store today. That clearly scanned at full price £2 in another store whilst the Silver version scanned at 50p. It may be that the £1 RTC SEL has been put up early in readiness for the item to go down in price, to £1, tomorrow - I will not know as tomorrow is my updating (to OOD information:wall:) day - but the Silver version, if you have that, is already cheaper.

Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese 250g are now back at £1. They were £1 for several weeks leading up to Christmas on an offer that was said to end on 27th December. I think it probably did end - as I've been 'struggling' with many stores showing £2.43 (probably because that was the real price) for a number of days, so I have had the product at full price up to and including yesterday. With the odd store showing me £1 though, I finally caved in and scanned it today and it is £1. I now notice msm is still showing £2.43 so I think this is a price change that has happened today. Not fantastically brilliant as it's only going back to the offer it was:rotfl:. And, come to think of it, I am now seeing £1 SELs even more today so I think this means the offer has been put back on.

I've tried McVities Tasties Biscuits Selection (350g), due to having an incorrect £1.50 in one store:p, and it is still on £1 (probably £1 RTC). Trying one of the Jacobs caddies again - although this was at mid-morning - still £1:(. I do not have Festive Friends or Nestle Walnut Whip although I now suspect the latter is probably still £1. If the Cadburys Fingers Star is still around anywhere, it is still at £1 today. I had no stock anywhere and no SELs, so still complete no trace in stores I've been visiting - however the BC from my pack that I bought two weeks ago scanned at £1.

I can confirm (fwiw as we already 'knew') that the 5 pack Creme Eggs are available at £1 in M St. Helens - it's actually the store on Boundary Road, which is what I thought was meant by "St. Helens" as that's the town centre store, rather than the one at Baxters Lane. However, going by the receipts, the store at Baxters Lane is called "St. Helens" and the store at Boundary Road is "Boundary Road" - so it is Boundary Road store, according to M, that has them. They are quite obvious there too - there is quite a lot of stock in a container set-up next to a CS desk at the end of one of the aisles. The container itself has £2 price on it but there is a yellow card showing the £1 price. I bought just one carton given that they are a little bit expensive:rotfl:. I have definitely not seen them in any other store I have visited - has anyone managed to find any in any non-St. Helens M? So, that's another item I will have difficulty tracking if the price changes unless it starts to appear at other Ms:rotfl:. The Boundary Road store, in St. Helens, also has individual Creme Eggs although, according to the SEL, they want 25p each for those (as opposed to a Mr A SEL yesterday saying 50p:rotfl:!).

Mr A is too expensive:(, as, according to this, Thorntons Collections, including Classics Collection 511g, are £1.50 in W:

TBH not sure what I would use Avios points for. Planning on going to Disneyland Paris in may maybe?
