    Good Morning

I'd better stay laying off the biscuits and chocs.

I mentioned to someone before Christmas that I had eaten a box of ferrero(24)over 2 days that I had bought someone for a present and they gave me a box of 42 for a present:rotfl:

Very cold and frosty here as well today.

Spent £60 Sal :o Did incl my free paper and coffee so that I could use my £12 off. :money:

I got loads of good stuff most sweets, chocs and biscuits were 75% off.

Also books & foodie gifts they had in for xmas. Got a few of those Adult Ladybird ones for £1.50/£1.75. Stem ginger in whisky £1.50, duchy organic jam £1.25, some expensive tomato chutney £1.

All going fast so would recommend people go today if they want a bargain.

Just remembered the tube sweets like minstrels and milky buttons were 25p :D

I have a few £5 off 12/15 pack C4rling on 1pint that will expire on 31st :(. I won't be buying any as I have enough free packs, but will hopefully find some wombles. If anyone is sending any womble receipts to recycling ...

    Many thanks

A cheeky bump and a reminder 1pint vouchers expire on 31st - if it is still the same as before (as we have not had a voucher expiry for a while), that means 23.59 on 30th so make sure you claim before then.

I got a few more codes packs in S yesterday - it is worth checking the back of the shelf :). If no morecoddd packs, I have 4 more free 4 packs to claim and the. The £5 back on 12/15 packs.

Having dealt with insurance claims in a former working life, photos showing items in situ are always helpful to prove ownership. Loss adjusters are generally looking for evidence of a lifestyle.

I hope they are not too judgemental ... evidence of living betond of our means given how we shop :D.

I best get some photos taken :).

I was referring to the slightly odd bond with the 15 month length which if started this week would mature in March 2018 (not March 2017) -

"15 month one paying 1.30% gross - that would take you up to March 2018 which might be of use for ISA forward planning or if you have ISAs/bonds etc maturing etc

    http://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/bonds/"

I was very late to the ISA game - too late really but it was quite exciting in the run up to early April, seeing how much cash you could scrape together in readiness and waiting for banks and building societies to announce new ISA accounts with mouth watering interest rates ... sadly now something else from the olden days ...
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”

:o sorry, my error, with references to December I assumed you had moved on a year too early.
