They were 2 for £6 Bubbs so I think they worked out at about £2 a box , which is still not bad for the size :) thanks izzey :)

My waitrose goodies, I managed to use up 2 £8 off £40 spend and saves (with some cat food in shop).

    Lindor Big Ball £2.50.
    Toblerones £1.11
    Fox's Assortment 600g £1.00
    Family Circle 75p
    McVitie's Blue Box £1.50
    Cadbury's Chocolate tins £1.25
    Cadbury's Occasions £1.00.
Lindor 600g carton (sadly only had one) £2.50
    Fox's chocolatey tin £1.25.
    Waitrose Shortbread 50p
    Waitrose Chocolate Shortbread 66p
    Waitrose Chocolate Selection 66p
    Waitrose Sweet Selection 62p

The Waitrose Chocs (think it was 800 or 850 g box) was reduced to £1 but the date was April so didnt partake.

Heston puddings left this year, stollen and xmas cakes/slabs and mince pies reduced today.

I got a few biccies but even if they had Waities chocs ( like quality street) I woudnlt have got them they taste rank!! Got a few party canapes at 99p[ each instead of £5.00 and also on 4 for 3 so takes off another 99p. 10p carrots and 10p potatoes.

Intended to bone them and prepare as breast and thigh fillets, but still no chance of fitting them in.

    Options List

    1) Buy an extra freezer:D

    2) Clear out any old stuff you know you will not use

    3) Friends and family freezers, probably not an option this time of year

    4) Take out any large items, defrost, cook and take off the bone for example legs of lamb or large joints of gammon, portion up and refreeze after cooking

    5) Re package and label frozen food for example fish fingers/burgers

Can anyone else add to the list please

DS packed on train like a sardine to Liverpool :(

He text earlier saying there was signal trouble and no trains and station was packed.

Luckily he managed to get on first train that arrived told him to keep vigil he got 2 heavy bags stuffed with clothes , food , Christmas presents etc.

He said he will and will text when he home.

DS2 gave up his seat on his train home yesterday, he then sat on his case the rest of the way so he didn't lose sight of it.

I was going to say clear out anything unwanted or dubious such as really old packages of veg. But also I would clear out items of lesser value if it came to that.

You should have at least a couple of days' grace, Sue, as the chickens will have a fridge life of some days before needing to be frozen. Gives you time to sort some solutions.

I do admire your mojo for doing this.

Nowadays I have to steer clear from doing similar things for myself, as I know from bitter experience that if I have too much of anything stashed and stored, I actually end up not wanting any of it at all.
