I got the Waitrose chocs last year and I thought they were nice but then I don't like Quality Street

I dont like quality treet or roses either. I cut them all up and used them in slow cooker fudge instead.

Seren bet the GC were excited about lapland when then came back

Oh they were, they had the best time ever, there are hundreds of photos (I only looked at a few but I could see the thumbnails of the rest )

Huskies, sledding, snow angels, Santa, sleigh rides, think they did everything possible.

The best bit for me was when I asked DGD what the real Santa was like, I told her that I'd never been able to see the real one, I'd only ever seen his deputies, the ones that you see helping out in this country.:)

She leaned forward and she said 'He's very quiet. And he's very very calm.'

The next best bit for me was finding out that they both liked flying, absolutely loved it, so the world's their oyster now. :D

It's been lovely and sunny all day here (cold though) then suddenly about an hour ago a thick blanket of fog appeared from nowhere. Hope it doesn't last, we have a long drive to do tomorrow. Work was very quiet but BF in Scotland rang and we chatted for about an hour, which was lovely. She'll be down in Feb, which isn't too far away.
Popped to S this morning but not much that was a good bargain - just a four pack of Rachel's Organic yogs for 49p, dated 31 December.
I'm not very good with new year's resolutions and losing weight always seems to be top of the list, but I am going to try and be better at meal planning in 2017.
