It looks to me like the 2.5Kg White Potatoes and King Edward Potatoes in Aldi have gone up to £1.19 and £1.69 respectively - it seems they did not want to have the 19p prices on for too long:(! The 2Kg:( Maris Piper Potatoes are still 19p though. So I was able to get those but not getting the additional 500g anymore. They seem to do this a lot, in my Aldis at any rate - has anyone else noticed this or seen the same situation? They'll start an offer off, for example they'll have some apples in a Super6 and, at the start of the offer period, they'll be 8, 9 or 10 in a pack. Later on, the next week of the offer, and they seem to go down to 5 or 7 in a pack:(.

To be fair to them, the potatoes were a short term Christmas offer along with other veg in different supermarkets. They will soon bump the prices back up to "normal" as they were selling as a loss leader.

    Has anyone else had problems?

A couple of "my family" are experiencing issues too :(.

The duplicate emails obviously highlighted a system issue - we are wondering whether to reply to the request for further details emails now as that may prompt working vouchers? Also would others email to report the non-working vouchers?

    Many thanks

I know that no one really or the energy to do a sort out after Christmas but these few days mid week between Christmas and New year are a good time to sort out your finances

For anyone who has been enjoying the generosity of TSB and their classic plus account.

Firstly you need to log in at least once a year so put a note on the calendar to do this ASAP if you have not.
2ndly - from January 4th the interest rate drops to 3% (from 5%) which is still better than nothing but also you only get it on up to £1500 instead of £2000. So if you have had the full £2000 sitting nicely and earning you 5% you have to now reduce it to £1500 as the extra £500 wont earn anything
so calendar this as well, to reduce the balance use it for the monthly saver
3rdly if you have one of the original TSB accounts you wont get cashbook on your contactless payments up to £100 from December 31st :(. So another card to just sit in your wallet.
Its still worth having TSB if you have a small lump sum up to £1500 that can sit in your account for the 3%. And there is a monthly saver paying 2%.
