I had a weird autumn losing nearly a stone and I wasn't even dieting:o When I got my appetite back I ate like a horse and I've put it all back on again:o

I love Christmas food etc but always like getting back to normal eating.

    We need a plan:D

Lovely to see you TS....so sorry to hear that you've been poorly:A

Thanks TM, I hope I have seen the back of it now. Might actually go for 2 meals today and actually have some dinner. :)

I had a look but none in my local.

My Best Buy today has been 4 Veg packs at 10p each from A. I'd already made the buttersquash soup and plan to make soup every day while I'm off work......ready to kickstart my diet in the new year.

As I was coming out of A, I found a receipt in a trolley dated 23rd and had a feeling it would be a good one:) They'd bought 7 Thorntons snowmen which were 3 for £10 and compared to T £25 v £20:T
With other bits and pieces, it added up to £12:T

    :T:T:T:T well done

Normally chips etc. It is very lean so you may need to add fat to the pan. It tastes like a really good steak. I love it.

    Thanks Miss C!

Turkey crowns and turkeys in S and A reduced further.

I now have "a few" in the freezer :D.

    In S £4 for a medium crown (2.2-2.9kg IIRC), £3.75 for small (I got a 2kg one ... and a couple of larger ones:)).

In Little A I paid £5.78 for a 3kg one too - loads left, oh for more freezer space.

It appears we may be having turkey again soon .

Gave T's a miss today and ventured to S, got a small crown 1.9kg for £3.12,

a few other reductions but nothing to tempt me food wise, managed to get the turkey crown and the remaining 3 gammons in the freezer after a bit of tetris and removing some party food for tomoros buffet! :)

prob already mentioned but nice gift wrap rtc 50p, various crackers rtc 75% off,

lots of gifty stuff 70% off, that's the nieces and nephews sorted for Xmas next year...

TU clothes sale marked at 50% off but lots going thru at 70% off,

Yes well done locarr. I am going to concentrate on eating out of the four freezers throughout January so may do frugal Jan i enjoyed that in October and dh is looking for a new car still so every little will help.

Thanks, may have to join you in frugal Jan if I can avoid whoopsy time! can eat out the freezer for months ;)
