Oh and cjj I have put out pate before now as well as an extra. :o

There will probably be lots of whoopsied ones around at the moment, and you can freeze pate.

I know my cheese and wines are sometimes not strictly cheese and wines as often we have a bit of meat and beer too. :rotfl:

Yes grapes are a must cjj. ;) Chutney is a nice touch and maybe some pickled onions too. I always buy some crusty bread too, often a French stick which cut into slices and put in a basket are nice alternative to those not keen on crackers. And we have occasionally put out a bowl of apples small ones, we like apple and cheddar and some of our friends do too.

We have also cooked and sliced a gammon before now if we have had a whoopsied one in the freezer, I know not in keeping with cheese and wine but it always goes down well.

When shall I put the date for in my diary.

Aww thanks TS. It's Friday & you would be more than welcome :T. If only .............xx

Turkey crowns and turkeys in S and A reduced further.

I now have "a few" in the freezer :D.

    In S £4 for a medium crown (2.2-2.9kg IIRC), £3.75 for small (I got a 2kg one ... and a couple of larger ones:)).

In Little A I paid £5.78 for a 3kg one too - loads left, oh for more freezer space.

It appears we may be having turkey again soon .
