I used to be a member due to flip flopping between them and the RAC for cashback ;), so still have my membership card (that I've never been asked to show) but crucially I can still log on to my AA membership page and print off the QR code ;)

Great news and still time before the promo ends - very annoying that the promo appears to be a bit of a shambles in the nap though. A shame as you would think if Amex are covering the cost then they should opt in all small firms that accept Amex by default. Small firms are busy enough without having to jump through hoops... as are we customers :D.

I agree. I have found far more shops now after someone (sorry, forgot who) told me to put the town name in the search box. I had just been using the map. I'm just sorting the freezer then will go shopping!

The other interesting one is Young and Co - again you only need one share and you get a voucher each year

"Shareholder Offer voucher entitles up to 2 people to stay, from £55 per room per night, including full English breakfast for a two night weekend stay (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) subject to availability and terms and conditions. Voucher issued to qualifying holders in June & December"

on their location map they seem to have about 24 or thereabouts hotels, mostly on the outskirts of London. I noticed Radlett is one and I think eldest child said this is a very pretty place, also Stow on the Wold and another in a very wild place east of Salisbury. They all sound like places that would be a lot more than £55 a night.

Radlett is pretty and the High Street has some individual shops rather than chain stores. There is also a small theatre there. Fast train service into London. Also good train service to Luton Airport.

I assumed amex were doing this to check which stores still actively accept amex and us notifying them of the ones that don't helps them to sort out the wheat from the chaf so to speak :o

Same price in all stores so if you need fillers for a Sada v !!!!!! shop even better
Or for adding to a MOC and conditional spend shop as fillers in Mr T
