    :)

Today I must wrap the Christmas presents going down to Parents - I MUST :o
I loathe & despise anything to do with wrapping paper :o

Meanwhile I must go to Ts ....

My big walk from one side of town to other yesterday, carried my library books to Lidl, got shopping, heaved both to library, library closed :mad::mad::mad:
:(:(:( lugged both into town & did town stuff, then loitered for 45 minutes so I could get bus home :o

You are having my sort of day but if you plough onwards with it, it does get better, well sort of.
I am now ahead of my wrapping so I am volunteering if anyone needs me :rotfl:
I was just thinking that if anyone was trapped at home and not allowed outside this would make a good offer to put on Streetlife :rotfl:

It depends on which AA :D

    Good point ;)

I couldn't believe it. I was just telling him I was trying to sort out a discount for us but had to find someone with AA membership and he chimes up with "I'm in the AA"

Needless to say he knew nothing about the rewards he's entitled to

More money than sense that one. I'm sure he was adopted :rotfl:

edit: now he's telling me he doesn't have an online account with them. I despair! :wall:

    wish me luck.....

    Evening folks

We're going out for my brother's birthday tomorrow after Star Wars and he says he doesn't want to go to Beefeater again  Is he really my brother?!? :rotfl:

He wants to go to a restaurant that is part of the Mitchell and Butlers chain and I'm struggling to find discounts I can take advantage of

Is anyone in the AA that uses the 20% off? I was wondering, how strict is the need to show your membership card?

    TIA

I used to be a member due to flip flopping between them and the RAC for cashback ;), so still have my membership card (that I've never been asked to show) but crucially I can still log on to my AA membership page and print off the QR code ;)

    Morning All!

FYI, The 3 different Super Yummies that you can get for Free in SD with COS go through the till at a total of £2.20 but you get a refund via COS of £2.72 :money:

Thanks for this, I've been trying to figure out a way around the cashback conundrum so this is the answer :)
Our Boots is on a shopping park which is the worst sort of hell even on a weekday so going there for the COS items was impossible.
But I can get to a nice little Superdrug for the 3 yummies and then across the road is a tiny Boots which might or might not have the right baby jars but its worth a try.

Then I could also pick up the marks parcel and drop off the charity bags :T

and do Sainsbos on the way back :0

A reply from Amex saying I can shop at One Stop stores and to get in touch with them if the credit doesn't appear. :)

Great news and still time before the promo ends - very annoying that the promo appears to be a bit of a shambles in the nap though. A shame as you would think if Amex are covering the cost then they should opt in all small firms that accept Amex by default. Small firms are busy enough without having to jump through hoops... as are we customers :D.

The terms do say every except the ones on the list although they sometimes want to see your AA card too.
I use this at least once a week and its a great saving but sometimes you have to be firm with them.hth xxx
There are December exclusions which are different for each brand .

I have an AA card without an expiry date. Very useful at Moto service stations. (I think it is Moto!)
