The Marks one is interesting as you only need to have one. It seems though you need to have your one share by mid November to qualify for a January mailing.
In past years I noticed a few people selling their vouchers on ebay at the end of January and into February - this was some years back so I doubt if this still happens now with the fees and postage etc
http://corporate.marksandspencer.com/investors/shareholder-information/shareholder-perks/shareholder-vouchers#640b899edc564117bb250bba5deed1f8Whilst researching how to save money at dinner tonight I stumbled upon a site that detailed various perks you can get at companies if you are a shareholder (sometimes for a minimum of 1 share holding at low cost sometimes for a ridiculous number of shares)
Some people on here probably know about it but it's never been properly flagged/discussed as far as I know so here it is anyway:

I did see people selling theirs on ebay but I wasn't paying £10 for it :eek:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

The other interesting one is Young and Co - again you only need one share and you get a voucher each year
"Shareholder Offer voucher entitles up to 2 people to stay, from £55 per room per night, including full English breakfast for a two night weekend stay (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) subject to availability and terms and conditions. Voucher issued to qualifying holders in June & December"
on their location map they seem to have about 24 or thereabouts hotels, mostly on the outskirts of London. I noticed Radlett is one and I think eldest child said this is a very pretty place, also Stow on the Wold and another in a very wild place east of Salisbury. They all sound like places that would be a lot more than £55 a night.
