  • PS I can confirm that the Birds Eyeballs do take 2 x £1 off four buying tree of thuh Insprirations 3 for £6 deal if you buy £10 or more B4 multi kicks in, ie in @ffect 2 fish at £4 and Kiev at £2.70, pre total £10.70. So 3 for £4. Also the Kievs are deliciouious, proper chicken fillet used and not minced chicken do dahs. Chuck a couple of free water and buy in shop where you are not using a comparison.

If I type One stop shop into the search bar, but leave the location bit blank, it comes up with 1 one stop shop in Romford....I cant find any near me. I would be interested in what they reply to you.

I would be interested also to know how people do with trying to put a one stop claim in. We have one a few miles away so I tried putting the village name into the search box and I found another farm shop, a village stores and car spares shop so I've got 3 useful places to try out in that direction - this might lead me to Waitrose for coffee :)
Some of these places are so small they don't have Fb pages or websites

    Morning all

Got DD here from Oz. Staying for 3 weeks :D :santa2::xmassmile:rudolf:
Cant remember the last time we all spent Christmas together
    as a family.
She's one of those people that love to clear out old stuff,
so a major decluttering going on here :T
    I helping of course

Any meet ups in BW let me know. I'm just a ferry ride to Gravesend and I'm sure can get bus from there to BW.

I wish I could borrow her, I really could do with someone very slightly OCD to tackle the shed, OH is refusing to co operate. Also the loft - I did have eldest son here about a month back trying to retrieve some of his goods and chattels from the loft so there was a brief sort out but he got bored with it and apart from a foray skywards for Christmas cards he has refused to go in the loft since ...

  • Just a word of warning with the 02 body shop thing, do not press the button before the offer is confirmed, I was told this morning that it was only working as 40% off but they are hoping it will be fixed soon.

We did the fuel fill up at Sainsbobs yesterday as I had an 8p fuel voucher (having done a Tu shop for badly fitting clothing)

Like you - not a single till spits, its been like this now for 3 weeks apart from the Tu fuel spits I got 4 in a row last Monday

Loo paper - got the Aldi Christmas loo paper on Saturday - night need to have 2 lots out, decorative loo paper and normal bog standard for everyday usage :rotfl:

I also got the Aldi cherry liquers on Saturday- how weird is this, have you been looking at my lists!

If its big items of furniture it might be worth trying the heart Foundation - we have a local furniture shop with a van that does weekly collections. All I had to do was ring them and they came and collected - originally it was just a desk, set of drawers and a sky box but by they also went away with a stool and 2 pictures

Thanks, mhoc. Hadn't thought of them. It's got as far as the hall now, which is good, so it is at least ready for a quick exit, but the problem is that my heap in the hall is now in the bedroom, so that has to be faced, head-on, today. Which may not be a bad thing as it has been ignored (aka frowned at) for six months...:rotfl:

I like Aldi's cherry liqueurs, I gave them a try one year and found they were just as nice as MS, so it's been theirs ever since. Funnily enough I was looking at them in MS the other week just to see how much was in the box and another customer told me to get them in Aldi so the word is out!

The "stuff" in our house also gets shifted from one place to another, around and around in a desperate attempt to make room. I managed to get it all off the dining room table and into the study but now I am fed up of the study being such a dumping ground. As soon as a charity box or bag is donated you start filling the next one up, there seems to be no end to it ...
I've had a few bits on Freecycle but no takers so these also sit in miserable piles
Might have to schedule Thursday as a study decluttering day ...

  • I need the help of the elite if possible.
I can't get round the shops often and will not be anywhere until Friday but I am after a white/silver table runner and placemats. I left it late as wasn't 100% sure table would turn up in time and would have ended up cooking at mums.
The closest I have found that would do the job of protecting the new table top are cream felt ones on amazon ( a bundle).
Have looked at a few places online but no joy. Is this the sort of thing wilkinsons might still have? Nothing on dunelm and don't want to spend too much for one day as will no doubt find the perfect runner after xmas for year round use.

    TIA
