So doesnt that cover any link that you make shorter by just putting it into a word? Im confused, think I best stop thinking about this.
I.e. so is this not a shortened link, hence not allowed??

I think that they are going on the fact that it is still the same URL but just a different way of linking to it. It is not generally deceptive which is what shortened links are.

So would www.naughtylinkclickhere.com not be allowed? Head hurts!?!

    Aww thanks MKS :A

Glad to see cjj online again. Do you have anyone to talk this over with? Or do you feel able to pm one of the Elite you feel comfortable with ? I am sure there will be lots of offers, in confidence of course

Sarah - ((hugs)) for your dreadful day

AJ - loving reports on your 'time off for good behaviour', lots of hugs for you too Bonny Lass

Hampy - lovely pic of darling Stanley Boy

I'm off to Prezzo (on cc vouchers) for Christmas night out with local dog rescue gang so should be a good night

    See you all laters :j

Hi 3dogs, I do have someone to talk to thankyou. Trouble with pm's is that I'm not good with written words & I struggle to express what I want to say. Lovely to know everyone's here for me though at the end of a pm. Have a lovely night out xx

    CoS new deal worth investigating

L'Oreal shampoo and conditioners ad other hair care, various flavours/sizes (checksoecific flavours/sizes)) are £1 back in M, O or SDrug. Many are on offer in SDrug for £1.98.

Are there other deals that could stack - loyalty card etc?

    Hth

Would you believe it my Vax steam mop packed in today, so I rang Vax, and as per usual the warranty ran out on it last week.:mad::mad:
When it rains it pours, doesn't it! I found that Vax were much cheaper for their own spares than anywhere else, can you not do the 'fit for purpose' reasonable length of time thing? th

If you hover over a link and the address bar shows you the website you will be taken directly to then it's ok

If you hover over a link and the address is gobbledegook (like jelwjensm.bk) then it's a shortened url because it will take you to an entirely different website

One of the main uses for them is to fit long urls into tweets (as in twitter :rotfl:)

Eta: i've sent you a sample via text :p

How long was the warranty though? If it is a mechanical failure it is perhaps worth arguing that it would reasonably be expected to last longer under consumer rights legislation - no doubt someone will be along with a link soon!).

I am only guessing, but I think it is something to do with redirects, things like 10 ways have that make sure they get paid for the clicks.
