Afternoon all Hugs all round me thinks - wish I could bottle the magic in this thread so a drop or two can be given as and when required. :A

Found an old APG last night when dusting the mantelpiece - obviously put up there for safe keeping :eek: Runs out today so over to As to pick up Vodka and a few other bits only cost me £6 and just got a £4 APG back :T

Made a cuppa and Scottish Power rang again to ask me if I had checked their T &Cs about exit fees. Told him he was quite correct but I wouldn't be switching as I used the figures SP had quoted about my annual usage on their website to compare and I would only be 60p better off as opposed to the £16 suggested. He then tried to tell me that the figures were wrong and his set of figures were right - a little bit disconcerting I have to say :eek:

Lots of hugs and positive thoughts to those who need them.

I've been having a domestic 'godessing' day again, it's blinking hard work!

Made Dundee cake and shortbread, have a beef stew in the slow cooker (the recipe said cider so I hope the pig stuff will be ok despite the rhubarb!!) I have boiled up orange and lemon peelings and apple bits which are currently dripping through so that I can make the compost heap jelly. I found a jelly bag type thing that the dearly beloved, grumpy old git, used to use for beer making. That is currently tied to one of the kitchen cupboard handles. I also picked up some cheap pears in our coop today so next thing is pears in mulled wine.
Still need to finish the decoration that I am embroidering and sort out the things that need sending abroad - must go and check posting dates I'm probably too late already.

Is it wine o'clock yet?
