On that note......and as I've taken up half the thread talking about my Christmas cakes:rotfl:
Just to let you know that I'm out in hives after eating too much fruitcake....there's lots of sulphites in dried fruit.......will my Christmas cake saga ever end?:rotfl:

Sulphites are evil, they make me wheeze. I take an antihistamine, hope your bumps go down quickly :)

Best wishes for anyone needing it today.
Well 9 years ago I was in need of Elite friends as my life was in freefall. In Feb 9 years ago I finally asked my OH to move out as his alcoholism was ruining all our lives.
Fast forward to today. OH is 9 years sober and in the early part of next year he is moving back home. We have both had health scares in the last year and after much discussion we decided we would be better off financially and life would be easier if we shared the house again.
He will be having a small summerhouse/shed in the garden as his lounge and to keep his books etc. ( he is paying for that ) and will sleep wash and eat indoors. We will have our own bedrooms and our own indpendence.
So I feel for anyone having a hard time but it can and will get better.

I just signed up to a nectar survey on alcoholic drink consumption (email invite) :D

I get 1,000 points if I record all the drinks I have away from home for the next month! :money:

Easy peasy ....for me anyway. TM would have her job cut out trying to record all that she drinks! :rotfl:

Been gone for yonks...tried to get on with mobile and had to reapply...so now im just capitals instead of a long name, and am on new style, which i still hate with a vengence.also im sure when im on tablet that im still logged in on the other name.anyway...im here albeit in loads of guises,so more of me and salwag to go round...story of our lives, lol.
Hope you all are doing ok...cheers for some and hugs for others.
Me and her ladyship are still treading water, going from one crisis to the next but i thibk thats life so we are trying to accept and make the best of this round of reality...a recent family funeral reminded me of my lot in life and i was still on the right side of the ground.reminds you of how little you see of the relies, how you promise to keep in touch but rl always gets in the way, then you lose someone else and you renew the promises and yet never learn til you see the photo on the box,and the losses come thick and fast as you get older.then the older you get,the worse the loss, then you wish you were a child again, cos it was so much simpler then....
So you can tell im back cos im rambling as per.
Apologies for depressing ppl with my first return post.
I could also bore you with the continuing saga of my son but thats for another time.
    What am i like...
I havent got used to all the icons, emos for insertion so anything could happen.

Do my eyes deceive me....lovely to see you and salwag:)
