before the morning degenerates any further I'd better go and do something productive which might be desk tidying

    - 2 loads of washing done but the weather looks like its going to take a bad turn.
    - Errant son on a whole day practical interview
    - Eldest childs car has failed its MOT and needs welding
    - trying various ways of booking hotel rooms and getting nowhere

you're assuming the post was removed by a mod (which it might have been).

It could have been removed automatically by enough people pressing "spam"

I wonder if "spam" posts get reviewed by the mods or not...

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Second part of Boots order arrived - again box half open, shampoo leaked everywhere. The free beauty box all bashed in and taped up - happy to say contents intact - very impressed plus it also contains a little book of coupons :D. just like the old days!

Did complain to Boots and saying that I would be returning an item later today as it was damaged which was not only inconvenient but it would probably mean I would spend more ££££s. Very nice lady laughed and said she would put some points on my A card - so I wouldn't spend as much :p

Fair comment AAU....but it's a sad situation that that the thread sees itself in if the lurkers and fellow posters found so much Spam yesterday that it has caused quite a fair bit to be removed....
If I genuinely thought the spam button had that much power ....I would have been using it years ago!!!!
I'ts starting to feel a little bit like the words "good morning all "...could soon be seen as spam if too many post them early in the morning.....

BTW..and said with a hint of humour...I had to check on Nanny's status following your last post which could also be seen as excessive use of scrolling blankly down the page......xx
Nanny if you are around...hope all is well

Talking about health & safety issues - my Asda have removed all the rubbish bins by the SS tills. I asked why as there is now nowhere to dump your receipts etc and was told the Manager is afraid somebody might fall over them. Can't see why as the bins were always tucked under the basket shelves.
